Vanderpump Hotel Opens Reservations, Offers Look at New Rooms

The wait for The Vanderpump Hotel is almost over. Reservations are now open for the boutique casino hotel beginning in late May.

This is the first boutique hotel curated by Lisa Vanderpump in Las Vegas. It will occupy the space most recently known as The Cromwell.

The new rooms will debut nearly a year after Caesars Entertainment announced the change. Renovations on all 188 rooms and suites began in February, when reservations were temporarily taken offline.

While room updates are nearly complete, crews began publicly working on the rebrand last week when the Cromwell name was removed from the building.

Visitors can now reserve rooms at Vanderpump Hotel. The first available booking date is May 29.

As expected, room rates are high during the first month of availability. However, prices settle to just over $100 before fees in July, when visitation typically slows. Caesars Rewards members will likely see lower prices depending on their status.

The new rooms are a drastic change from the dark, moody Persian theme of The Cromwell.

First Look at The Vanderpump Hotel Rooms

The rooms are light and bright, similar to many recent renovations. However, Vanderpump’s style is noticeable in the design.

“Our vision was to create a room that feels like a true retreat, a calming escape just steps from the energy and excitement of the casino floor," Vanderpump said. "The guest rooms are as beautiful as they are serene.”

The rooms were designed by Vanderpump and her business partner, Nick Alain, and are a complete departure from The Cromwell. Dark wood floors, leather furniture and purple accents have been replaced with soft, soothing textures throughout.

The new design features a lighter palette, including moss green hues with touches of a soft lilac, creating a more relaxing environment.

Initial images show a large gray velvet headboard set against a stenciled accent wall. The bed is flanked by mirrored nightstands.

Vanderpump elevates the design with multiple soft colors and textures throughout the room, a feature more commonly found in luxury resorts than mid-tier hotels.

These soft textures and lighter colors should help the 360-square-foot rooms feel larger. For comparison, most standard rooms on the Strip are about 500 square feet.

Unlike the Cromwell rooms, there is ample lighting throughout, with at least four lamps in the main space.

Since there are no images of the bathrooms, I reached out to Caesars to see if they would see a similar refresh. I was told there will be some updates, “but the layout will remain largely unchanged”.

Giada’s to Stay at Vanderpump Hotel as Property Transforms

Most of the property will receive a full refresh. However, the only full-service restaurant, Giada, is not going away. Vanderpump told Travel + Leisure it “will remain part of the hotel.”

Giada, Starbucks, and the casino floor will remain open during renovations, although a timeline has not been announced. Vanderpump’s signature “industrial romantic” design aesthetic will extend to the reception area, gaming floor, and public spaces. Details about a new cocktail lounge will be shared at a later date, according to Caesars.

Guests who have visited Vanderpump’s restaurants and lounges at Caesars PalaceParis Las Vegas, and Flamingo should be familiar with the style that blends rich textures and modern glam. Even if you’re not a Vanderpump devotee or design enthusiast, her aesthetic is instantly recognizable.

Like The Cromwell, Vanderpump Hotel will stand out as a unique property once the renovation is complete.
