One of the best values in Las Vegas for beer fans this summer is the four-hour all-you-can-drink deal for $25 at the Silver State Brewfest.

The 9th annual event is hosted by Pub 365 at Tuscany Suites and Casino on July 19 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Florentine Ballroom. Tickets are $25 in advance or $31 after June 15.

Tuscany is a small casino is just east of the  Strip on Flamingo. It's a two-minute drive or car or 10-minute walk from Horseshoe Las Vegas and Vanderpump Hotel.

Guests can sample beer from nearly 40 breweries, with seven from Nevada. Las Vegas brewers on hand include Able Baker, Beer Zombies, and Craft Haus. Special guests from outside Nevada include Russian River, New Belgium, and Bell's Brewery. In addition to regular brews, some limited-edition beers will be available. You can find the list of breweries and ticket information here.

Beyond the beer, there will be live music from Bling, a Top 40 cover band. Food will be available at an additional charge.

Even better, your ticket supports a good cause. A portion of ticket sales will benefit The Animal Foundation, which helps find homes for animals in Southern Nevada.

Pub 365: One of the Best Beer Bars near the Vegas Strip

The brewfest is presented by Pub 365, located inside Tuscany Casino across from the Circa sportsbook. It’s one of the best beer bars near the Vegas Strip and was among the few on the Strip with a large selection when it opened in 2016.

It features a collection of 365 rotating craft beers at fair prices. Happy hour runs weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight and offers a rotating draft beer for $3.65 and other discounted drinks. The pub has a mobile app where drinkers can unlock discounts and freebies, such as a flight of beer, an appetizer, or limited-edition unicorn beers, valued at up to $40.

There's bartop gaming available, but microbrews aren't available as comps. I learned that the hard way.

While there's gambling, this isn't often a tourist destination. Tuscany Casino is small, mostly slots, with some bartop games. There are only a handful of 3:2 blackjack tables along with craps and roulette.

But it's one of my favorite places to get a drink or food when I meet with beer-drinking friends in town and when I'm not in the mood to deal with the Strip.

Great Spots for Beer on the Vegas Strip

Today, there are plenty of bars on the Strip with extensive beer menus. Here are a few great bars with great beer options:

  • Beerhaus at New York-New York: Massive beer menu with $5 draft specials, $7 happy hour food and drink specials, and a $9.99 burger and fries deal. Indoor and outdoor seating at The Park. TAP at MGM Grand and Excalibur also have the burger deal and a larger-than-normal beer menu.
  • Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas: Huge beer menu with mostly AB-InBev beers. The company has purchased so many smaller breweries that the options are much larger than just Budweiser. Beer snobs will avoid, but the options are fine for most. Great view of the Bellagio fountains.
  • BrewDog across from Park MGM: Large variety of beers not available elsewhere on the Strip. The rooftop bar has $7 pints during happy hour, with 50% off some food items.
  • Yardhouse at The LINQ: Most beer drinkers are familiar with this chain bar/restaurant. It has a massive beer menu, including seasonal options. Happy hour is solid with $2 off beers and 50% off certain menu items.
