Missing Glassware, a Lighting Meltdown and 700 Guests: ‘Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas’ Finale

LAS VEGAS — Lisa Vanderpump has three days until her hotel’s grand-opening party. The rooms are missing glasses, the lights aren’t working, and 700 people are on their way.

What could possibly go wrong?

In the finale of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas,” Lisa races to finish her namesake hotel, reunites with family and prepares to welcome a rooftop full of celebrities. Nick Alain is still trying to get the lights on.

Nick has a few finishing touches left. Lisa has a few hundred guests coming.

Spoilers ahead for Episode 3.

5-Star Reviews and One Unhappy Coffee Drinker

We pick up where Episodes 1 and 2 left us: with Lisa listening to a hotel guest’s complaints about the shower, the closet and a coffee machine that apparently wasn’t plugged in.

Lisa is less than thrilled that she’s become the hotel’s personal tech support. But the guest isn’t the only one with feedback.

Hotel management tells her that the soft opening exposed some service delays and a few other issues. One detail stands out: Some guest rooms opened without glassware.

No glasses? After everything Lisa put in those minibars, guests deserve something to drink out of.

The good news is that the team says the hotel has received 18 reviews, all five stars, with guests praising the design and the staff. Lisa is relieved, though she jokes that she hopes the woman from the lobby doesn’t know how to use the internet.

Still, Lisa knows the real test is coming. The grand opening will bring a much bigger audience, and any problem will be a lot harder to hide.

With the party approaching, Lisa and designer Nick Alain walk through the property to check what still needs attention.

The answer: plenty.

There are flowers to arrange, areas to finish and stanchions to put around Gigolo so guests don’t get too close to the displays. The decorative shadow boxes need lighting, and Lisa wants the teacups backlit.

Nick has been working on a hotel transformation while guests continue to use the property. Unlike a restaurant, they can’t simply close the doors, finish everything and unveil it all at once. Parts of the casino still have to operate while work continues around them.

Lisa understands the challenge. She would also like the lights on.

At one point, Nick mentions extensions, and Lisa turns the conversation into a joke about a very different kind of extension.

Three days until the grand opening and we’re talking about penis extensions. Lisa is back.

Kevin Lee Has a Party for 700 to Plan

Kevin Lee, Lisa’s longtime friend and event planner, is back. After handling the flowers for Gigolo, he’s now helping with the grand-opening party.

The plan is appropriately understated: a rooftop celebration with hundreds of guests, champagne, aerialists and a woman in a giant martini glass.

Lisa asks how many people are expected. The answer is about 700.

Lisa says she doesn’t even know 700 people. Kevin seems confident he can find a few.

The guest list includes friends, celebrities and Caesars executives. Lisa wants the event to be spectacular, but the pressure is getting to her. She admits she’s anxious, waking up early and worrying about how everything will come together.

Ken, meanwhile, seems considerably calmer. That makes one of them.

Lisa tours a completed guest room, where the bed has been turned down for one person because the room is set up for a single guest.

She questions whether that’s a little presumptuous. Just because someone checks in alone doesn’t mean they’ll stay that way.

It’s Las Vegas, after all. Give the guest a chance.

Lisa also checks on the shower after the earlier complaint and likes what she sees. Across the property, Pandora shows her the merchandise, including items featuring the family’s dogs.

Lisa praises her daughter’s work and jokes that if you want a brilliant employee, you should give birth to one.

Pandora has helped with the hotel while raising two young children. And now she gets to work with Lisa during a grand opening. Somebody get this woman a cocktail.

The Shadow Boxes Strike Again

If you thought the shadow-box lighting issue had been resolved, you must be new here.

Lisa returns to find that the boxes still aren’t properly lit. The team has temporary lights, but she wants to know why the solution is temporary in the first place.

Her name is on the side of the building, and she doesn’t want guests walking into a dark, unfinished display. With the opening so close, the frustration spills over.

Nick has spent the series trying to turn Lisa’s ideas into reality, sometimes while she’s already on to the next idea. The two are clearly under pressure, but as the finishing touches come together, Lisa softens.

She thanks Nick for what he’s done and tells him how much she loves the result. The pair share an emotional moment.

Those shadow boxes have caused more drama than some of the SUR staff.

A Family Dinner and a Bigger Legacy

Before the party, Lisa takes a break for dinner with her family at Vanderpump Cocktail Garden.

Her nephew Sam has traveled to support her, and the conversation turns to Lisa’s late brother, Mark, and her parents. Lisa talks about wishing they could be there to see the hotel and reflects on how much she wanted their pride and approval.

She also describes growing up in a family that didn’t always express affection openly, and how she wanted to be different with her own children.

It’s a quieter moment in an episode full of flower arrangements and last-minute fixes. Seeing her name on a hotel is a huge professional achievement, but for Lisa, it also represents something she hopes to leave for her family.

She takes time to recognize Pandora, too, praising her work as both a mother and a businesswoman.

Lisa has spent the past few episodes worrying about what everyone will see when they walk through the hotel doors. At dinner, it’s clear who she most wishes could see it.

Lisa Rallies the Hotel Staff

Before the grand opening, Lisa addresses the hotel’s staff, thanking them for their work and telling them how important they are to the property’s success.

She says there are about 650 employees and emphasizes that they’re a vital part of the guest experience. She also tells them that if they need something and can’t get it resolved, they can come to her.

Please, though, try plugging in the coffee machine before you call Lisa.

Lisa says she wants the staff to know she’s involved in the hotel, not just lending her name to it. Given how many times we’ve watched her inspect those shadow boxes, I don’t think anyone can accuse her of being hands-off.

Cue the Celebrities

The hotel is looking ready, the flowers are in place, and the guests start arriving.

Friends, family and familiar reality-TV faces make their way through the property, checking out the casino, Gigolo and the guest rooms. The reactions are enthusiastic. One guest is so taken with a room that the visit quickly turns into an appreciation of how well it could accommodate other activities.

One guest says the room makes her horny. Lisa wanted sexy. Mission accomplished.

Guests also receive tokens they can redeem at Gigolo, giving the bar named for Lisa’s beloved late dog another moment in the spotlight. Giggy has a statue, a lounge and now a party favor. Some of us can barely get our names spelled correctly on a coffee cup.

Lisa takes it all in as she greets the people who have supported her. After weeks of worrying over every detail, she can finally see her vision filled with actual guests.

On the rooftop, the grand-opening party is in full swing. The entertainers are in place, the crowd has arrived, and Lisa steps up to address them.

She jokes that after years of guests eating and drinking at her restaurants, they’ve essentially been dating. Now, with the hotel open, they can finally sleep with her.

After three episodes of watching her get ready for this party, I’ll give her that one.

She thanks the people who helped bring the project together, including Nick. The finale revisits some of their frantic work, reminding us how much had to happen before the party could look this effortless.

And for Lisa, the celebration brings her back to the family conversation from earlier. Looking at what she has built and the people around her, she reflects on whether her parents would have been proud.

This time, she believes it would have been enough.

The hotel is open. The party is a success. The glasses have hopefully made it into the rooms.

And Nick? I hope he finally gets to sit down.
