Aristocrat’s Spooky Link Go Ghost is launching online for players in regulated U.S. iGaming states and Canadian provinces just in time for Halloween. The same Cash Collect feature players already love on casino floors will be available on their phones or laptops.
The franchise has continuously topped the Eilers & Krejcik U.S. & Canada Game Performance Report, with its land-based titles ranking among the industry’s best-performing games. This debut from Aristocrat will be following in the footsteps of Lightning Link, which went digital earlier this year.
“The launch of Spooky Link brings one of the most successful land-based slot franchises in the industry to online players across the U.S. and Canada,” said Dylan Slaney, CEO of Aristocrat Interactive. “This full-scale network rollout has been timed to coincide with the Halloween season,” he added.
This release from Aristocrat Interactive, the online real money gaming division of Aristocrat, marks the beginning of a broader rollout for the Spooky Link franchise. Additional titles from the iconic brand family such as Yo Yeti are planned for launch throughout 2027.
Aristocrat Interactive knows how to bring favorites from the casino floor to regulated online markets.
“[This release] is another example of our ability to take world-class land-based content and extend its reach across channels, creating a truly connected player experience,” Slaney said.
Go Ghost is the first game release in the Spooky Link brand family. The game’s signature Cash Collect feature allows special symbols to collect and enhance credit values. The Ghost character adds a supernatural twist with the ghoulish character randomly appearing for a bonus.
While I’m a fan of Spooky Link, I’m still relatively new to the game. So I went to our resident slots expert at Casinos.com Michael Graham for additional insight about what makes this slot special.
“The true game-changing innovation in Spooky Link is the highly interactive colorful cast of characters that define it,” Graham explained. “While we have seen this before, Aristocrat has taken it to a whole new level by adding a childish ghost, a lonely yeti, a dashing werewolf, and a naturally friendly witch who's desperately trying -- and failing -- to be a little bit performatively nastier.”
Graham says his favorite character is a narcissistic vampire cursed to live without ever seeing his reflection. Quirky details like these add personality and depth to the game, enhancing the overall player experience.
“You play these games hoping to win,” Graham said, “but you never feel entirely disappointed because you've been entertained by the characters no matter what.”
