LAS VEGAS -- Before ComplexCon made its official debut this year in Las Vegas, the brand hosted an exclusive, invite-only dinner at Zaytinya at Caesars Palace. The Mediterranean-inspired lounge was the perfect place to host the stylish celebration, tucked away inside the Forum Shops.
The event celebrated Complex’s LIST[ED] group for 2025, a curated list that highlights the brand’s top 50 people shaping what's next in the worlds of entertainment, fashion, art, and music.
This event was the official, invite-only kickoff for ComplexCon, a two-day convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center celebrating streetwear, music, culture, and art in one weekend. Previously held in Long Beach, this is the second year the massive event has come to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The weekend kicked off with a dinner that felt part industry mixer, part influencer playground.
There were big names on the honoree list like singers Rihanna, Bad Bunny, Ryan Coogler, and fashion designer Takashi Murakami, among many others. Though most of them weren't in attendance, the possibility that they might appear was enough to keep the vibes high the whole night.
The space was filled with hip-hop creatives, social media influencers, and relevant media figures from Vegas and beyond -- even food critic and influencer Keith Lee made an appearance. The lounge’s low lighting, sleek decorations, and lively hip-hop tracks from the DJ made it an ideal venue for networking and celebration.
Guests enjoyed signature Italian bites from Jon and Vinny’s, while Courvoisier Cognac had fantastic offerings at the bar as the event’s featured spirit. On top of that, they offered complimentary engraved bottles, making for the perfect souvenir for anyone, even if they’re not a cognac fan.
One of the crown jewel displays was a full caviar display sponsored by Real Caviar brand with a Complex logo right in the middle. Caviar might be a lot for some tastes like mine but still made for an undeniable crowd magnet for tasting and photos.
Hosting the LIST[ED] event at Zaytinya was a savvy choice -- the restaurant sits within Caesars Palace’s Forum Shops with a wide variety of non-gaming offerings. Guests don’t need to leave the property to enjoy a full evening of dining, shopping, and nightlife.
While Fontainebleau served as one of ComplexCon’s official hotel partners, offering VIP hotel packages for the convention, it was interesting that Complex opted for a restaurant farther down the Strip at Caesars.
The Forum Shops have evolved beyond just retail into an entertainment district, offering luxury dining, nightlife, and attractions like the new Formula 1 (F1) Arcade. It’s the kind of venue that appeals directly to ComplexCon’s younger, culture-savvy crowd and keeps them around after the event to explore both the gaming and non-gaming offerings.
Casino resorts are finding ways to expand past just their gaming offerings especially to entertain the younger generations who are more drawn to experiences than slots. Venues like Zaytinya are great spaces for celebrity launches and influencer events, blending the luxury of Vegas with pop culture.
Just last month, WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Bella hosted a similar event at Virgin Hotels with a meet and greet and wine tasting in the same event. Events like these show that casino properties can work well as platforms for pop culture spaces where food and entertainment can collide.
Zaytinya’s mezze-inspired menu is crafted by José Andrés, the acclaimed chef behind Bazaar Meat. Coincidentally, Bazaar Meat restaurant had just hosted their opening party at Palazzo the day prior to Complex’s event. It was a perfect setting to bridge the hip-hop culture aesthetic of Complex's cool fashion and hip-hop vibe with the high-end hospitality on the Vegas Strip. For Caesars Palace, hosting the first-ever LIST[ED] celebration is yet another high-class success for the many restaurants in the elaborately luxury casino-resort.
