LAS VEGAS — Comedy shows in Las Vegas get off to a slow start in 2026 as many comedians avoid business travelers in town for conventions throughout the month. That makes sense, as convention attendees are often tied up with business dinners or attending corporate events after a long day on the show floor.
Sitting in a comedy club isn’t always an efficient use of time during a work trip. If they want laughs, they can always return to Sin City.
Of course, one benefit of corporate travel is racking up hotel and airfare points, which people can use for discounted or complimentary rooms and flights on personal vacations. In fact, this is the only way some visitors get to experience Las Vegas.
Winter can often be a quieter time for entertainment in Las Vegas, but there's no shortage of familiar headliners reappearing in new homes. Several performers are swapping venues but continuing to hold it down for Vegas's entertainment lineup.
Nikki Glaser and David Spade are making their first limited engagement appearances at Caesars Palace, after previously performing together at The Venetian.
Their shows follow Glaser’s return to the Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11. Last year, she was the first solo host of the show that celebrates excellence in movies and television.
Former Saturday Night Life castmate Rob Schneider will kick off the 2026 edition of the long-running Aces of Comedy standup series at MGM Grand earlier in the month. Nurse Blake, who previously performed shows at The Cosmopolitan, is now part of the series.
Look ahead: Sebastian Maniscalco returns to Wynn on Feb 6 and 7.
The world-famous Laugh Factory is opening at Horseshoe Las Vegas in late January. The nearly 50-year-old comedy club made its name on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles before expanding to Las Vegas and other cities around the country.
Laugh Factory was previously located inside the Tropicana before the casino closed and was imploded.
The club will take over the 250-seat Imagine Showroom on the casino's second floor.
Bret Ernst will be the first headliner to take the stage at the new Laugh Factory from Jan. 29–Feb. 1 for its soft opening. If the name sounds familiar, you might recognize his name from the Netflix show Cobra Kai. The grand opening comes on Feb. 12, with Concrete kicking off the first of three nights.
There will be two shows nightly at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets start at $54.
Laugh Factory joins a growing list of comedy clubs inside Vegas casinos. Tickets for these shows are among the most affordable in Las Vegas entertainment.
The lowest-priced comedy show tickets can be found at a club in the center of the Strip, just outside The LINQ casino.
