Score the Best Girl Dinner and Ladies' Night Deals at These 7 Vegas Casino Restaurants

LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas is always trying to stay on top of the biggest social media trends, and that means capitalizing on ideas that go viral, like “girl dinner.” If you haven’t heard the term, Merriam-Webster defines it as a light meal made up of pre-made snacks or easy-to-prepare foods. Think a Caesar salad, photo-ready small bites, and a cute martini.

It’s the kind of low-effort, yet cute plate you throw together at home when you don't feel like cooking a full meal. It's become a big social media phenomenon, and Vegas casino restaurants have taken notice by offering their own girl dinner deals both on and off the Strip.

Thursday has become the unofficial day in Vegas for many promotions, which makes sense since it feels like the gateway to the weekend with Friday on the horizon. It’s the go-to night for a lot of these promotions, though plenty of other nights have their own deals, too.

Deals and promotions specifically for women are not legal in most states, but they are in Nevada. In 2011, former Gov. Brian Sandoval signed a law (supported by casinos) that allowed bars and restaurants to offer gender-based differential pricing, discounted pricing, or special offers for marketing purposes.

The deals available for women these days often include something like a Caesar salad or small bites, a martini or specialty cocktail, and a portion size small enough that you're not too full to keep the night going. They're also usually priced low enough that you can eat, drink, and still have money left over for more Vegas fun.

Scotch 80 Prime At Palms: Where It All Started

One of the first girl dinner deals to start the trend at Vegas casinos started off at Scotch 80 Prime at the Palms. They launched this back in January, and it's kind of become like a model for other restaurants.

The girl dinner menu is served in the bar and lounge from 5 p.m. until close, Sunday through Friday. Some of the menu highlights include:

  • “Not Basic”: baby gem Caesar bites with truffle fries
  • “Doggies in a Blanky”: mini Wagyu dogs wrapped in puff pastry with honey mustard onion rings, and bread and butter pickles
  • “Cluckin’ Pops”: crispy hot honey lollipop chicken wings

You can also order “mini-tinis”, which are miniature martinis available for $10 each or as a three-cocktail sampler flight for $20. The flight is a great call if you're going with a group and want everyone to try a sip of each. Choose from three flavors: the "Rosie Rouge" with Grey Goose Berry vodka, lemon sour, and muddled blueberries; the "Glitter Sparkle" with G.H. Mumm Rosé champagne, St. Germain elderflower, and cotton candy; or the "Unforgettable" with cachaça prata, strawberry, and cucumber lime sour.

Desserts round out the menu at $12, or chocolates and cookies for $13.

This also overlaps with Scotch 80's social hour, which runs from Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. So there's definitely a lot to check out here from both menus.

Durango's Bel-Aire Lounge: A Bundled Deal

Bel-Aire Lounge cocktail and appetizer spread for Durango Casino's girl dinner and ladies' night deal

Bel-Aire Lounge at Durango Casino bundles a $20 girl dinner deal with a 50% off ladies' night for those who want to make it a full evening off the Strip. (Photo: courtesy of Bel-Aire Lounge)

Venture off the Strip to Durango Resort and Casino in southwest Vegas for the tini girl dinner at Bel-Aire Lounge.

On Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m, ladies can get a Caesar salad, crispy fries, and a handcrafted martini for $20. The value here is real, considering that a single martini alone can cost $15 to $20 with tip factored in. The martini selections can vary based on availability, so check with the server when you arrive.

This is also a great lead-in to Bel-Aire Lounge's ladies' night on Thursdays at 8 p.m. Groups of women get 50% off drinks, and every woman receives a complimentary welcome cocktail (subject to availability).

This is a smart play for Durango to keep guests on the property for the whole evening.

Silverton Casino's Cowgirl Dinner

Head far south on I-15, get off at Blue Diamond, and you'll find Silverton Casino Lodge. It’s an outdoors-themed casino resort with a massive saltwater fish tank, Bass Pro Shops, and Cracker Barrel nearby. Big emphasis on the “lodge” aspect of the name with the theming on the property.

Twin Creeks Steakhouse has a cowgirl dinner available on Fridays and Saturdays, and it goes a step above some of the other ones. For $25, guests will get a classic martini or a zesty lemon drop, a Caesar salad in a bread bowl, truffle fries, and a small cup of vodka rigatoni.

This is a more filling deal for only $5 more than what's offered at Durango. It's worth the drive if you don't mind heading away from the Strip. Silverton also has a separate deal at Grove Lounge: ladies can drink free from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday or Thursday, choosing from house wine, domestic beers, and well cocktails. Worth combining both if you plan ahead.

Double Up at Caramella All Night

We're not going totally off-Strip. Caramella Italian Restaurant and Lounge at Planet Hollywood offers a girl dinner menu in its front lounge on Thursdays from 4 pm to 10 pm, with dishes ranging from $9 to $22. You can choose from Wagyu steak fries, garlic cheese bread, veal parmesan meatballs, and many other options for a full meal all while staying under $25.

Caramella also offers 50% off its dessert menu, specialty cocktails, wine by the glass, and spirits that same Thursday window. Inside their Hidden Lounge, they offer 50% off cocktails and select bottles from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. It's one of the most complete packages on this list if you want to stay in one place all evening, similar to the Bel-Aire Lounge deal (except this is on the Strip!)

Bistecca at Tuscany: The New Addition

Bistecca Italian Steakhouse at Tuscany Suites and Casino is just off the Strip, not far from the LINQ, Horseshoe, and Vanderpump up the street on Flamingo Road. It's a traditional Italian steakhouse with a neighborhood feel, and its girl dinner deal also sits at $25 with a full meal included.

For the price of one cocktail on the Strip, you can come here to get a glass of wine or martini, along with a full Caesar salad and one entree-size pasta portion of spicy rigatoni, Bolognese, shrimp diavolo, or cacio e pepe.

This is available every day starting at 4:30 and runs until 9 or 10 p.m., depending on the day. This was just introduced about a week ago and offers one of the best values on this list.

Hungry For More? The Best Ladies' Nights

Girl dinner deals are great for a solo or small group outing, but ladies' night deals take the concept further. Most of these are discounts on a full bill for groups of women, which means more food and drinks to share but a lower tab per person. Casinos with a great nightlife scene often set these deals up strategically: getting women to start the night there early can make it easier to transition guests into the nightclub or lounge later.

Hakkasan Restaurant

Hakkasan is located inside the MGM Grand and offers 50% off most of the menu for women's tables on Thursdays starting at 5 p.m. Not everything on the menu is included, so check with your server before ordering.

The discount is significant; I went once with a friend before heading to Hakkasan Nightclub next door, and our $72 dinner came down to around $45 after tip. The lychee martini and the shrimp toast are some personal favorites worth ordering.

After dinner, Hakkasan Nightclub next door almost always offers free guestlist entry for women through a promoter, along with occasional drink tickets or an open bar. Groups of six or more ladies may be able to arrange a complimentary bottle service through a promoter or VIP host to keep the fun going until the AM hours.

Rouge Room: Rare Friday Night Find

Rouge Room lounge at Red Rock Resort

Rouge Room at Red Rock offers groups of ladies 50% off the entire bill for food and drinks starting at 6 p.m on Fridays. The room has a plush red aesthetic and a warm, lounge-y energy. The hibiscus paloma is one of the more popular drinks, made with Casamigos tequila, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and grapefruit soda. Live music from local bands starts at 9 p.m., making this a full evening rather than just a dinner stop. This is a great option for Red Rock hotel guests or locals on the west side.

Pro tip: JING at Downtown Summerlin is a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute Uber from Red Rock, and a great secondary ladies' night option for anyone staying not too far at the Resort at Summerlin or Suncoast. The restaurant serves Asian food and sushi in an upscale setting that feels like it belongs in a casino. Groups of women can get 50% off their bill on Wednesdays starting at 8 p.m.
