Lottery Leads Small January Gain for Delaware Casino Revenue

Delaware’s three casinos generated $33.5 million in January, a 1.9% increase from the $32.9 million generated in January 2025.  

Of the total, video lottery terminals generated $29.7 million, up 2.5% from $29 million the year prior, while table games revenue fell 3.1% from $3.8 million to $3.7 million.  

While the state celebrates the end of a successful month, Delaware Park Casino has announced it donated over $150,000 to non-profit organizations in 2025, demonstrating its continued support for non-profits across the state (more on that below).  

Harrington Casino Sees Biggest Win in January  

The latest report from the Delaware Lottery shows that of the state's three casinos, two saw revenue rises, while one posted a decline.   

While it was the state's lowest revenue generator, the Harrington Casino saw the largest year-on-year increase, rising 8.4% from $7.6 million to $8.3 million. Both video lottery terminals and table games saw similar increases at the casino. Video lottery terminals generated $7.6 million, an 8.4% increase from the just under $7 million generated in January 2025. Table games revenue also rose by 8.7% year-on-year from $666,498 to $724,189.  

Delaware Park also saw a mild year-on-year increase, rising 1.3% from $14.1 million to $14.3 million, the highest in the state. Video lottery terminals at the casino saw revenue increase year-on-year by 3.8%, from just under $12 million to $12.4 million, while table games faced a double-digit revenue decline of 12.9%, falling from $2.2 million to $1.9 million.  

Bally’s Dover Casino was the only venue to face a loss in January, falling 1.9% year-on-year from $11.1 million to $10.9 million. It was the only casino in the state to see video lottery terminal revenue fall year-on-year, decreasing 3.1% from $10.1 million to $9.8 million. However, table games revenue rose 10.5% from just under $1 million to $1.1 million.  

Delaware Park Gives Back to the Community  

In 2025, Delaware Park raised and donated over $166,000 to 15 local Delaware non-profits through various fundraisers and promotions, as well as monthly charity drives hosted by the casino.  

Guests got involved and donated a variety of things to benefit the non-profits, including money, food, toys, and even dog treats. On top of that, Delaware Park employees contributed to the donations through various events, including Jeans Day and Deck the Halls for a Cause.  

Other initiatives held throughout the year included Alex's Lemonade Stand, a toy drive for Motorcycle Santa, and Bark at Del’Park, which supported Humane Animal Partners and Faithful Friends.

Non-profit organizations that received donations included Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Autism Delaware, Canter Delaware Horse Rescue, Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, and Delaware Crime Stoppers.
