A New Love Island Slot Has Entered the Online Casino Villa

One of the biggest reality TV shows in the United States has arrived on the online casino floor. Love Island: Unlocked is a new online slot from White Hat Gaming that launched on June 1, just one day before the Season 8 premiere of Love Island USA on Peacock. 

The slot is now live for players 21+ on FanDuel Casino in select states and Mohegan Sun Online Casino in Connecticut.

The game features a new “Select-A-Character” mode that lets players choose an Islander and have the game's visuals reflect that selection. From there, randomly triggered modifiers tied to recurring villa moments keep the fun going during gameplay. 

“Bombshell in the Villa” adds bonus symbols to the reels, drawing from the show's tradition of sending in a new contestant (a bombshell) to disrupt existing couples. 

“Dumping Night” refreshes the reels for maximum win potential, referencing the nightly elimination ceremonies that send islanders home. Other modifiers include “I've Got a Text,” a nod to the nail-biting phrase from the show, and “Casa Amor Super Spin,” which references the series' segment where couples are separated and tempted by an entirely new group of islanders.

Beyond those features, the game has “Megaways” mechanics with thousands of different ways to win per spin, an “Unlock Trail” that opens new gameplay experiences and character pairs over time, and cash pots that unlock mini, maxi, major, and mega rewards as play progresses.

What Happens in the Villa, Stays on the Reels

Love Island: Unlocked was created by White Hat Gaming in collaboration with FanDuel Casino, ITV Studios, and Zoo 55, ITV's dedicated gaming division. This is the second Love Island slot to come out of that partnership. 

The first slot in this partnership was Love Island Reel Vibes, which launched in late 2025. This introduced the franchise to FanDuel's library through a deal with Games Global. Love Island: Unlocked builds on that game’s foundation, with a greater focus on the series’s characters and mechanics that reference moments from the TV show.

Ariana Madix, the host of Love Island USA since 2024, is the lead ambassador for the game’s launch. Madix was part of the Bravo reality series Vanderpump Rules before stepping into the hosting role. She sat down with slot vlogger LadyLuckHQ in a video posted to FanDuel Casino's YouTube channel to walk through the new game ahead of its release.

 "Love Island has become a defining part of summer entertainment," Madix wrote. “So launching Love Island: Unlocked alongside the premiere of the new season feels like the perfect fit." 

The Love Island Unlocked slot’s arrival is perfectly timed to the release of the newest season. The show has attracted millions of viewers in recent years, and its passionate fan base has gone so far as to gather in person to watch it. In Las Vegas, Love Island watch parties have become a legitimate event format at casino venues like the Stadium Swim pool at Circa and at Beer Park on the rooftop of Paris Las Vegas. 

Two Platforms, One Island Experience

On FanDuel Casino, Love Island: Unlocked is available to players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Michigan. The launch coincides with FanDuel's June Generosity campaign, which offers players free reward box drops and access to a $500,000 prize pool. The prize pool includes a luxury trip for two to Fiji as part of the Ultimate Island Giveaway sweepstakes for those who want to live like the Islanders for a day. 

The slot’s launch is designed to keep players engaged throughout the summer season and capitalize on Love Island's fanbase.

In Connecticut, the slot will be a permanent offering on Mohegan Sun Online Casino, which operates in partnership with FanDuel on both the mobile app and desktop. The online casino launched in 2021 and offers slots, table games, and live dealer games.

Season 8 is just now getting started, so there is plenty of island drama still ahead. The game's timing means new viewers may find their way to the slot just as they get into the show.
