LAS VEGAS —Slotapalooza is returning to Circa in downtown Las Vegas on Saturday, July 18. The all-day event, dubbed "the World's Largest Slot Party," is free to participate in and will feature a slot tournament with a $15,000 prize pool and a Game King Poker slot machine giveaway.
Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa, said it's meant to be more than just a normal slots tournament.
“This isn’t just a return of the World’s Largest Slot Party – it’s a full-scale celebration of everything that makes the casino floor at Circa come alive," Stevens wrote in a statement. "This year is all about turning it up another notch for our players and creating another unforgettable day in downtown Las Vegas.”
During the event, players will meet manufacturers, participate in free-play hot-seat drawings, and enjoy an open bar throughout the casino from morning into the evening.
The all-day slot tournament begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 7 p.m. Players can register in person for the slot tournament to participate and win a share of the $15,000 prize pool or the top prize of a Game King Poker slot machine near Circa Collections on the second floor of the property. The event will include feature video poker and electronic table games, which are technically considered slots.
Slot promo events begin at noon, with seven game manufacturers will be on hand to meet and greet players who may want to learn more about their favorite slots. More importantly, players can enjoy complimentary slot play and take home exclusive merch and giveaways. Here’s a look at the promotions:
Slotapalooza continues after the promo events are over. After 7 p.m., both levels of Circa’s casino floor will be fully operational, with every machine in use as part of a coordinated slot celebration.
Hot seat drawings for free play run from 8 to 9 p.m, and anyone looking to elevate the experience can enjoy an open bar from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Anyone stopping by Circa for Slotapalooza will get a chance to try out something new in the slot world. Circa is one of only two Las Vegas casinos with four new Interblock Amuse ETGs, which just arrived on the property over the weekend.
The Cosmopolitan also has these games, and Interblock confirmed to Casinos.com that Rio will have these games before the end of the month.
The new games are new takes on traditional casino games:
We covered this lineup last year at the Global Gaming Expo, although we didn’t focus on all of these games.
The Amuse games aren’t for everyone, but Interblock's free play giveaway makes for a good excuse to try something new with the non-traditional ETGs.
