Vegas Football Specials That Actually Save You Money

Every Las Vegas casino wants a piece of football season, whether it’s college or NFL games. Sportsbooks, bars, and restaurants roll out specials during football games throughout the city, but those don’t always mean discounts or low prices.

The best Las Vegas football specials should offer savings on everyday food or drink prices. The city has changed so much over the years that there are few loss leaders, where low prices are used to attract guests. Everything must make money in 2026.

Some of the deals, discounted or not, are intended to monetize a table or bar seat being occupied for three hours. It's tough to argue with a busy bar or restaurant that wants to make sure people are spending money, instead of just taking up space that could generate revenue.

Fair is fair: the business can charge whatever it wants, and we have a choice about where to spend our money. Here's where the actual value is this football season, on and off the Las Vegas Strip.

Game Time Happy Hours on the Strip

Some of the best Las Vegas football specials are hidden in plain sight. Monday and Thursday night football games kick off at 5:15 p.m. local time. Depending on the bar, restaurant, or casino, games usually begin around happy hour, which often runs in two to three-hour windows from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Staying on the Strip doesn't mean you have to overpay to watch the game. Happy hour is a great way to save a few bucks during these games. Since they're not full game deals, you won't feel as though you're stuck watching a game just so you can get the most from the deal.

Since the dishes offered for happy hour are snack-sized, a post-game dinner is still on the table. The meal should cost a little less than usual since you'll be going in after having a few drinks and maybe a couple of bites.

I prefer these kinds of deals on the Strip because there's so much to see and do that being committed to anything for three hours is a bit much. Flexibility is important in Vegas.

The best summer happy hours are still available, but here are some more Vegas Strip football specials that won’t break the bank:

• Proper Food Hall at Aria: $5 draft beer for Monday and Thursday night games.
• Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay: $25 bucket of Budweiser and $12 wings.
• Chickie’s and Pete’s at Sahara: $25 beer buckets on Thursday, $25 bottomless mimosas for all games.
• Redtail at Resorts World: $35 all-you-can-eat for Saturday and Sunday games (no drinks).
• Flight Club at The Venetian: Football brunch with $25 bottomless flatbread and $25 bottomless mimosas.
• Cabo Wabo at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood: $2.50 Carta Blanca beer for all games (plus its regular happy hour)
• Casino Royale: $1 and $3 beer every day
• Slots-A-Fun at Circus Circus: $3 beer every day

Weekend Off-Strip Deals

Like most deals, some of the best prices are off the Strip, particularly for NFL Sunday and college football Saturday.

These are the days when football fans and bettors lock in on multiple games. We're sitting in the sportsbook, bar, or restaurant for at least one session of games for a few hours.

Discounts are more meaningful since there's a time commitment involved. Just saving a dollar or two per item adds up during that time.

South Point is the cheapest off-Strip casino during football season. Budweiser beers are $2 on Saturday and Sunday, and the hot dog cart offers a $1.50 glizzy every day. The sportsbook fills up quickly, but the showroom is open for a $10 admission fee.

The Westgate is close to the Strip, and its Football Central on Sunday in the ballroom is one of the most popular free parties if you don't arrive in time to snag a seat in the SuperBook. They have $30 for six beer buckets, $3 Fireball shots, and $20 pitchers during the games, with cheap eats. The casino also dishes out $2 beer and hot dogs for Monday and Thursday night games.

Station Casinos has seven properties around town. Palace Station is closest to the Strip, and Durango is the newest. Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, and Sunset Station all have great sportsbooks. These casinos all have $3 beer, $3 shots, $1.99 margaritas, and $5 cocktails every day.

Bel Air Lounge at Durango Casino has a unique $29 all-you-can-handle special on beer and wings for Monday Night Football games.

El Cortez is a small casino, but it has a couple of solid deals: two hot dogs and one beer for $12, and five beer buckets for $25.

If you're looking to eat and drink for a three-hour session of pro or college football near the Strip, Ellis Island might have the best deal with all-you-can-eat food for $49. You can pay as you go for drinks or pay $35 for unlimited beer.

Not every football special in Las Vegas is a full deal. Some are priced to get you through the door more than to actually save you money. But between options on the Strip and in the burbs away from the tourist corridors, there are great deals out there this season if you know where to look.
