LAS VEGAS – Summer is in full swing in Las Vegas, and this is the busiest time of the year for dayclubs on the Strip. Many people are checking them out to cool off in the brutal heat, and one of the newest venues is Tailgate Beach Club, which opened in May at Mandalay Bay.
At any dayclub on the Strip, including Tailgate, it can be easy to rack up a tab of charges fast when drinks run at least $20. But Tailgate is betting big on value and offering probably the longest daytime open bar deal on the Strip right now. Their ‘All-Day, All-In’ bar package gets you unlimited drinks from the time they open all the way until close at 5 p.m. It's $75 for women and $100 for men, and is a great deal for poolside sips if you want to consolidate costs.
Tailgate is a 50,000-square-foot dayclub with a 4,400-square-foot pool and LED screens built for watching sports. They've been hosting World Cup games this summer and got their start with Golden Knights watch parties during their Stanley Cup run. They're also not far from Allegiant Stadium, which puts fans just a short walk from where many sports in Vegas are happening.
It's not exclusively sports either, since they've also hosted Love Island watch parties for people who want to see the next bombshell get booted off the villa on a giant screen. The pool season seems to be off to a good start for Tailgate, and this open bar deal is only going to extend it.
The open bar deal at Tailgate is available only to guests with a general admission ticket (free online) or those who have booked a $25 lounge chair. It works as an add-on to either of those options. That means if you are booking bottle service with a cabana, daybed, or bungalow, you would not be eligible for this package since those seating arrangements come with their own separate beverage packages.
The package itself is pretty standard in what it covers: beers, house wines, and well cocktails from the time you arrive until 5 p.m. Doors open on Thursdays and Fridays at 11 a.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays, they open even earlier at 9 a.m., which means you're looking at anywhere from six to eight hours of unlimited drinks depending on the day.
This is purchased in advance online and gets you a wristband upon arrival that covers your drinks at any bar or from a server if you have a chair. It's one drink at a time, but you can keep ordering as much as you want right up until 5 p.m.
With fees, the package costs about $87 for women and $114 for men. As with all good Vegas deals, there are some limitations worth knowing about. Top-shelf spirits, specialty cocktails, and shots are not included, so expect to pay out of pocket for those.
But there's still plenty of room to get creative with what is included. Order a cranberry vodka and then a tequila pineapple 10 minutes later, and mix them yourself if you want something different. Nobody is stopping you from taking full advantage of this all-day deal.
Vegas is making 2026 truly the year of value. Visitation has been down, so resorts and hospitality venues are doing whatever they can to attract people to their specific spot, given how much competition exists on the Strip.
Tailgate is part of that wave, but they're not necessarily trying to replicate Encore Beach Club at the Encore or OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace. Those venues operate in a different market where big EDM headliners are the main focus. Tailgate is built for a sports-focused crowd that wants an all-day experience, and this package fits that format well.
During a media preview at Tailgate, Clique Hospitality COO Craig O'Keefe told us that offering affordable options is key to their approach, ensuring locals and visitors can enjoy the venue.
“There are plenty of ways to get in here and not have to spend your whole paycheck,” Clique Hospitality COO Craig O’Keefe said. “Since we are more sports-focused and not focusing on having big-name talent in here, it opens up a lot of wiggle room for us to make affordable propositions [like this] to guests.”
It's also worth noting how well an open bar makes sense, especially at a pool. You are outside in the sweltering Vegas summer heat, so you’re bound to be sweating and want a cool drink to keep you refreshed. Being able to mix in drinks alongside water throughout the day without watching a tab climb up is a perk if you go with the ‘All Day, All In’ package.
The weekend hours make this especially compelling. Getting in at 9 a.m. on a Saturday or Sunday and having the open bar available all day means you could realistically order four or five drinks and come out spending far less than you would if you bought them individually.
The all-inclusive trend has reshaped how visitors approach spending in Vegas as a whole. MGM and Caesars are bundling resort stays in all-inclusive packages, and even one nightlife venue is getting in on the action. We recently covered the new $99 VIP open bar deal at Drai's After Hours, though it's limited to two hours and requires staying up late to take advantage of. That one also costs more for women than Tailgate's package does.
For locals, this makes the most sense if you're planning a full day at the pool and want a drink in hand without watching the spending add up. It’s an even better value for the right person visiting Vegas and making sports a big part of the trip. The combination of the sports vibe, pool, and all-day open bar every day of the week is a pretty good value proposition.
Tailgate's offering is one of the more generous deals available right now. It's also created some real competition with Stadium Swim at Circa, which has been the go-to for many Vegas visitors who want to enjoy sports poolside. But now visitors have a Strip option that isn’t fully focused on pricing locals and visitors out.
Tailgate Beach Club is open Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd. The open bar package can be purchased in advance at tailgatebeachclub.com.
