Happy Valley Casino Reveals Casino Plans

Ahead of its scheduled opening in April, the Happy Valley Casino has revealed new details about its 94,000-square-foot venue.

According to general manager Eric Pearson, along with attorney Michael Fabius of Ballard Spahr, the casino will feature a sports-themed sit-down restaurant, which Pearson said he “wouldn’t call it a sports bar” in an interview with statecollege.com. It will be serviced by a centralized bar that also covers the gaming floor,

Additionally, the casino will also have a quick-service outlet, LuckyBreak Café, which will serve coffee, ice cream, pizza, burgers and sandwiches.

The gaming floor is planned to feature 600 slots, for which Happy Valley has yet to request a license; however, this is expected to occur in December. Additionally, it will feature 30 table games, including two craps, three roulette, and two Ultimate Texas Hold ‘em.

In its hiring process, the casino will offer a 12-week free Dealer School and has so far accepted over 250 applications, with an expected total of around 300 employees.
