Charitable gaming revenue in New Hampshire generated $23.7 million in September, up from the previous year’s figure of $14.6 million and representing a year-on-year increase of 62.6%.
The figures, published by the New Hampshire Lottery, revealed that of this amount, historic horse racing (HHR) produced $18.2 million, up 60.7% year-on-year from $11.3 million, while games of chance recorded $5.5 million in September, an increase of 69.1% year-on-year from $3.3 million.
As revenue continues to rise in New Hampshire, two casinos, the Nash and Revo Casino Keene, have given back to their communities. The Nash has raised $2.9 million for local non-profits in November, while Revo Casino Keene has entered into an agreement with the city that would allow it to give a portion of its revenue to the city’s general fund.
Hampton Beach Casino, which hosts the Aces + Eights Casino, has also been permitted to go ahead with its redevelopment project, upgrading the site to include new condos, a hotel, an updated charitable gaming facility, and a new entertainment venue.
Of New Hampshire’s 15 casinos, six posted year-on-year revenue increases, while six had declines and three had no comparable results after only opening their doors this year.
The Nash led from the other 14 casinos, recording $5.8 million in revenue for September. The Brook Casino closely followed, reporting $5 million, a 22.1% year-on-year increase from $4.1 million. Revo Casino Lebanon experienced the largest revenue increase of the month, up 147.3% year-on-year, following its upgrade and rebranding to Revo Casino and Social House in December 2024.

New Hampshire Casinos Give Back to Communities
As the Nash continues to post positive results, the casino, which opened its doors to guests back in March of this year, announced that it had raised nearly $12 million for New Hampshire non-profits over the past eight months.
For November, the casino donated $2.9 million to 18 non-profit organizations, including Atkinson Lions Foundation and the New Hampshire Prostate Cancer Coalition.
The Nash isn’t the only casino to give back to its communities. In September, the Keene City Council agreed to accept money from the Revo Casino Keene, with the revenue expected to be allocated to Keene’s general fund for community benefits.
However, concerns were raised over the ethics of the decision. The casino is looking to relocate from Emerald Street to Key Road, with some opponents arguing that a revenue-sharing agreement would help influence the city’s decision. However, supporters rebuked this claim, noting that the city already accepted revenue from other industries, such as alcohol sales.
Another decision, soon to benefit the community, was made by the Hampton Planning Board in November, which voted to approve the redevelopment of the Hampton Beach Casino. The project calls for new condominiums, a 208-room hotel, a 52,000-square-foot upgraded casino space, and a new music and entertainment venue.
Owners of the project, Sal Lupoli and Fred Schaake, plan for the $600 million project to become a year-round destination with the opening date set for 2029-2030.
An economic impact report issued by Lupoli companies also outlined that the new casino complex would increase the town’s valuation by an additional $311 million, generate $3.6 million in property taxes per year, and produce between $6.2 million and $9.9 million in charitable contributions.

My love for gambling and casinos started early when my grandad handed me a video poker machine as a kid, sparking a lifelong fascination with the game. I grew up watching Celebrity Poker religiously and that turned into my organizing March Madness bracket tournaments all throughout elementary and high school—making every March a high-stakes competition among friends before I was even old enough to place a real bet.
