LAS VEGAS — Winter is fading in Las Vegas, and March arrives as one of the most active months of the year. After record-high temperatures in February, the coming weeks should bring near-perfect afternoons, with highs in the upper 60s and 70s.

Visitors can take advantage of the nice weather as pool season begins and spring breakers arrive later this month, along with St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness. There’s plenty to do during the day and ample laughs at night.

Beyond the parties and basketball, Las Vegas hosts North America’s largest construction expo March 3-7. CONEXPO-CON/AGG quietly draws nearly 150,000 people to the city.

Whether it’s music or comedy, seeing performers in these intimate venues is why so many visitors plan vacations around these events. It’s truly an “Only in Vegas” experience.

Headliners to See Across the Strip in March

The March comedy calendar is stacked with resident performers and national tours. The variety is unmatched, from one of today’s best storytellers, Ali Siddiq, to two comedians who typically play venues 20 times larger than their Las Vegas residencies.

Sebastian Maniscalco and Nate Bargatze, who tour the country playing 20,000-seat arenas, will perform for fewer than 1,500 people at the Encore Theater inside Wynn Las Vegas.

Here’s a look at the full calendar of major stand-up comedy shows inside Strip casinos:

  • Atsuko Okatsuka at The Venetian: March 1
  • Rob Anderson at The Venetian: March 6
  • Chelsea Handler at Cosmopolitan: March 7
  • Jim Breuer at The Venetian: March 7
  • Sebastian Maniscalco at Wynn: March 13, 14 (7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.)
  • Ron White at The Cosmopolitan: March 13
  • Ali Siddiq at Virgin: March 14
  • Nate Bargatze at Wynn: 16, 17, 18
  • Adam Ray at Wynn: March 20
  • Andrew Santino at Wynn: March 21
  • Matt Friend at The Venetian: March 21
  • René Vaca at Virgin: March 21
  • Jim Gaffigan at Wynn: March 26, 27, 28
  • Andrew Dice Clay at The Venetian: March 28

Lookahead: Jimmy O. Yang, star of “Silicon Valley” and “Crazy Rich Asians,” returns to the Encore Theater on April 3 and 4.

Just as February ended, Fontainebleau Las Vegas announced that Pete Davidson will perform at BleauLive Theater on April 11.

Wynn added more shows for Ali Wong due to demand on Sept. 25-26.
