Illenium is extending his Las Vegas Sphere residency with two additional shows this July, following overwhelming demand from fans who couldn't get enough of his shows earlier this year.
The news comes after all nine previous shows in the residency sold out, making it a wild success for the DJ. The whole show was built around his latest album ‘Odyssey,’ which brought together his signature emotional EDM style with the Sphere's premium audiovisual technology.
The new shows are scheduled for July 3 and 4, giving fans another shot to catch one of Vegas’s most immersive concert experiences in 2026. Presale tickets go live April 20 at 10 a.m. PT, followed by general on-sale ticket sales starting April 24 at 10 a.m. More information can be found on Illenium’s website.
Vibee is offering ticket packages that include reserved seating or floor tickets, a two-night stay at either Virgin Hotels Las Vegas or the Venetian, and exclusive merchandise like a collectible lanyard. VIP and SVIP packages are also available for fans who want an upgraded experience.
It’s no overstatement when attendees say the Odyssey experience is more than just a concert. The show follows a narrative inspired by Illenium’s personal struggles and growth, as seen in imagery like the phoenix featured on the album. Custom visuals for the show were created by Berlin-based animation studio Woodblock, designed specifically for Sphere’s ultra-high-resolution LED display and immersive audio system.
Fans attending earlier shows heard a mix of new music and popular hits, including “Feel Something” with Bastille and Dabin, “In My Arms” with Halsey and Wooli, and “Don’t Wanna Fall in Love” with Ellie Goulding. One of the most talked-about moments from the spring residency was Illenium’s debut of "Die Living," his collaboration with David Guetta and Dustin Lynch, performed with a live string quartet.
The residency also featured opening support from popular EDM acts such as Levity, Wooli, Alok, and Ray Volpe, many of whom perform regularly in the Vegas nightlife scene.
The success of Illenium’s past shows did not come without some controversy, though it may have helped the residency reach an even wider audience.
A segment during the performance featuring "Sleep to the Rhythm" with metal band Bring Me the Horizon sparked widespread discussion online. The sequence featured a green-horned skeleton DJ in the visuals, and some viewers described it as disturbing or demonic. Clips spread quickly across social media, with some longtime fans being supportive and others genuinely unsettled by the visuals. For longtime rave attendees, visuals like this are fairly standard, but can be unconventional to casual fans encountering them for the first time.
Illenium himself poked fun at the discussion on social media, calling it a "totally normal, totally not-at-all demonic gathering.” He clarified in a recent interview that the visuals were deliberately designed to represent his personal journey and the concept of facing one's internal demons, which is a major part of the Odyssey narrative.
Viewers commenting on the “scary” visuals may be unfamiliar with Bring Me the Horizon's aesthetic or Illenium's personal story and may react to a single scene without the surrounding narrative. If anything, the controversy introduced Odyssey to audiences who might not have otherwise paid attention, and the backlash didn't slow the sellout momentum.
Illenium, born Nicholas Miller, is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable electronic artists today. The successful residency and extension represent a huge milestone in his career in Las Vegas. He was a major headliner at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World in 2025 and even made history in 2021, being the first EDM artist to headline Allegiant Stadium with his ‘Trilogy’ show in Las Vegas.
Beyond Las Vegas, he has built a global following with more than 10 billion streams and three consecutive No. 1 debuts on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
He has collaborated with artists across genres like Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne, and Spiritbox. His live performances have taken him to major festivals including Electric Daisy Carnivall (EDC), Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
With the addition of two new Sphere dates for the Fourth of July weekend, it would surprise absolutely no one if they sell out quickly.
