Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City Awards Worker Bonuses

New Jersey’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is to award its unionized and non-unionized employees with over $10 million in aggregated bonuses as a way of thanking them for their efforts in delivering top-notch customer service, the New Jersey casino has announced. 

The Atlantic City property publicized the coming dividend during its most recent annual town hall event in which attendees were also given the chance to take home a share of $100,000 in cash and prizes while hearing updates on a range of future capital improvements.

Energetic Enterprise

Owned and operated by Hard Rock International, the 2,032-room Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City features a 167,000 sq ft casino hosting a selection of approximately 2,400 slots alongside 130 table games and a sportsbook. 

The Boardwalk facility additionally comes complete with more than 150,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, a spa, 15 food and beverage outlets, a gym and a fourth-floor pool.

Admirable Appreciation

Jim Allen serves as the Chairman for Hard Rock International, which is itself an entity of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and he described the coming bonuses as ‘a thank you’ for those who had contributed to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s success via ‘their ongoing commitment to customer service’. 

The experienced figure furthermore explained the move continues a legacy the New Jersey land-based casino facility began almost six years ago and follows its 2022 commitment to invest more than $100 million so as to increase the salaries of its American workforce across 95 job classifications.

“Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City team members are the key to our success in the market and we are honored to recognize them and their hard work,” Allen said.

Prestigious Prize

For his part, the President for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, George Goldhoff, noted news of the bonuses comes hard on the heels of Hard Rock International’s selection by Forbes magazine as one of America's Best Large Employers for a seventh consecutive year. 

He went on to note the operator had moreover used the town hall event to reaffirm its commitment to community efforts in Atlantic City and to discuss the new UNITY by Hard Rock loyalty program and the property’s sixth-anniversary celebrations in June.
