The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians unveiled a new slot room on Friday at Four Winds Casino Hartford in Michigan, featuring 19 different Aristocrat Gaming slot machines.
The slots room was officially opened during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a kickoff event that afternoon.
As part of the opening, the first 250 Players Club members were given a free maximum bet spin on one of the room's three Spooky Link machines.
“The addition of the new slot room at Four Winds Hartford, featuring popular titles from Aristocrat Gaming, will add some additional excitement for players who want to try their luck on several popular games,” said Four Winds Casinos President and CEO Mary Smith said in a statement.
The new room features a collection of variations on slot titles like Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Ignite, Firecracker Fortunes, Spicy Fortunes, and Inferno Link.
Aristocrat Gaming is one of the largest designers and distributors of slot machines in the world, serving gaming customers in more than 300 jurisdictions. The company's branded gaming spaces have also appeared in locations such as the Empire Casino Leicester Square in London, England.
Aristocrat has recently flexed its might in multiple industry battles with rival Light & Wonder. In 2025, Aristocrat secured the rights to use the Monopoly brand in slot machines, after Light & Wonder had held that license since 1998.
In January 2026, the two companies settled a lawsuit in which Light & Wonder acknowledged it had used “math information” from Aristocrat to develop two of its own slot machines.
Four Winds Hartford is one of four casinos operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. The tribe opened its first casino, Four Winds New Buffalo, in 2007. That was followed by locations in Hartford, Dowagiac, and the recent one in South Bend, which opened in 2018.
