February Fills Up With Las Vegas Concerts and Residencies

LAS VEGAS – The music scene in Las Vegas ramps back up to a normal schedule in February after slowing down in January. The month is typically a bounce-back after conventions push room rates through the roof, keeping some leisure travelers away.

The residency circuit and casino theaters quickly fill the gap for visitors looking to plan nights out with plenty of artists returning to Las Vegas for residencies this month. As usual, a few new performers will shake things up so visitors don't get bored with the same entertainment options.

Diversity is the spice of life, and Las Vegas shows cover everything from country and pop to oldies, R&B, rock ’n’ roll, and heavy metal.

While casino venues will host concerts throughout the month, there is only one national tour playing an arena on the Las Vegas Strip.

Residency and Limited Engagements

Chris Stapleton’s limited engagement at Park MGM should be a must-see for fans. He is playing two nights at the 3,300-capacity Dolby Theater, a contrast to massive arenas he has hit on past nationwide tours with capacities of 10,000 or more. The last time he performed in Las Vegas was in 2024, when he opened for George Strait at Allegiant Stadium.

  • Def Leppard at Caesars Palace: Feb. 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28
  • Chris Stapleton at Park MGM: Feb. 4, 5
  • Collective Soul at The Venetian: Feb. 4, 6, 7
  • Backstreet Boys at Sphere: Feb. 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 15
  • Diana Ross at Wynn: Feb. 12, 14, 15
  • Barry Manilow at Westgate: Feb. 12, 14, 19, 20, 21
  • Babyface at Palms: Feb. 13, 14
  • Marc Anthony at Fontainebleau: Feb. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21
  • Hilary Duff at The Venetian: Feb. 13, 14, 15 (Sold Out, May too)
  • Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at Mandalay Bay: Feb. 13, 14, 18, 20, 21
  • Chicago at The Venetian: Feb. 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28
  • New Kids On The Block at Park MGM: Feb. 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28
  • Eagles at The Sphere: Feb. 20, 21, 27, 28

While February is dominated by residencies and limited engagements, there is one major arena tour stop on the Strip this month. Cardi B brings her Little Miss Drama tour to T-Mobile Arena on Feb. 13, marking the only national tour stop in Las Vegas during February.

Both legs of Hilary Duff’s limited engagement at The Venetian are sold out. Additional shows could be added, but nothing has been confirmed.

These dates serve as a reminder to keep up with Las Vegas show news. Concerts sell out quickly, and while tickets may be available on the secondary market, prices are often much higher than face value.

For example, the three BTS concerts at Allegiant Stadium in May sold out shortly after tickets went on sale. A fourth show was added and also sold out quickly.

Events at Allegiant Stadium and Sphere continue to sell out as tourists plan trips to Las Vegas around concerts and sporting events. The same trend regularly plays out at casino theaters.

Bottom line: Move quickly if you want to see a major event in Las Vegas. The most popular shows sell out fast. This is one way to get around “Vegas is too expensive.”

Las Vegas Show News to Keep on Your Radar

Mary J. Blige will launch her first Las Vegas residency at Park MGM with 10 shows split between May and July:

  • May 1, 2, 6, 8, 9
  • July 10, 11, 15, 17, 18

As he teased last year, the Sphere added five more Kenny Chesney shows on July 1, 3-4, 8, 10-11.

Caesars Palace recently announced eight additional shows for the Blake Shelton limited engagement for May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 21, 24.

Alice Cooper and Criss Angel added more dates to their limited engagement at Planet Hollywood. The duo will perform music and illusions on:

  • Mar 6, 7, 8
  • Apr 3, 4
  • May 22, 23

The Donny Osmond residency at Harrah’s will continue through the end of the year with new shows scheduled from September through December. Similar to The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere, the production will use AI-generated audio enhancements and restored footage from the 1970s to update multitrack recordings from more than 50 years ago.
