Bally’s announcement for the renovations came just before the release of its Q3 results, where the CEO of Bally’s, Robeson Reeves, said the company introduced new cost-saving initiatives in October, along with focusing on its Casinos & Resorts, with construction in its casinos continuing.
Additionally, the Bally’s Dover Casino was not the only venue to be making improvements.
In October, Delaware Park opened its outdoor gaming area, allowing users to smoke cigarettes and cigars while playing. The terrace features over 250 slot machines, bringing the total number of slot machines at the casino to over 1,900.
The terrace is covered, but features six-foot-high openings that create an open-air environment, complemented by 50 heaters to keep the terrace warm in winter and fans to keep players cool in the summer.
