With the 2025 concert season in the rearview mirror, various entities across the entertainment world have been able to determine the best of the lot. In the concert venue category, Las Vegas casinos were prominently featured on Billboard magazine's rankings of top concert venues. Billboard’s annual venue rankings offer great insight into which venues are attracting high-profile tours, long-term residencies, and maximizing revenue per show.
Not only did some of the smaller venues score big, but one of the brightest stars in the Vegas skyline took down the top prize.
For venues with 5,000-10,000 patrons, the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City was the top venue. Five casinos can lay claim to a place in the Top Ten, however. Those properties include:
Two casino concert halls made the Billboard list of venues seating 2,500 to 5,000 patrons. At the top of the list was The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which has hosted artists such as Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart and country music legends like Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks. With gross revenues of $66.4 million across 64 shows, the venue topped the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
Casinos outside of the U.S. also did well in this category. The OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario, made the Top Ten in ninth place for 2025. With gross revenues of $24.2 million and more than 409,000 attendees (dwarfing The Colosseum’s 239K), the Fallsview Casino Resort entertainment venue has marked itself as one of the top venues in the world, not just Canada.
It should be no surprise that the "King of All Venues" in Las Vegas is the Sphere. It is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the global concert industry.
For venues with capacities over 15,000, the Sphere in Las Vegas was the king of the mountain. Plans for a Sphere in Washington, D.C., are on the horizon. Across the 105 shows Sphere Las Vegas hosted in 2025, more than $370.3 million in gross revenue was generated from 1.7 million attendees. This revenue topped that of venues with much greater name recognition, such as the O2 Arena in London, England, and Madison Square Garden in New York City.
When it comes to Madison Square Garden, the Sphere outperformed the venerable legend in the concert world. Despite the 1.8 million attendees across 127 shows MSG hosted, the Sphere earned $119 million in additional revenue. Madison Square Garden is owned by the Dolan Family, who also own a stake in Sphere Las Vegas.
The news was good for another big concert venue in Las Vegas. T-Mobile Arena, the home of the Vegas Golden Knights and host of WrestleMania 42, ranked 16th on the Billboard Top Venues list for those with a capacity of 15,000 or more.
In 2025, T-Mobile Arena generated $90.8 million in revenue while hosting 450,000 customers across 39 events. T-Mobile Arena ranked among venues such as the Palacios de los Deportes in Mexico City, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, and the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA.
With the Sphere topping the Billboard charts for concert venues and the smaller concert halls strongly associated with the casino industry, it is clear that Las Vegas is still doing well in the entertainment industry, at least.
