Binion's, Four Queens Switch to Boomer's Sportsbook

Boomer's Sportsbook now operates the sportsbooks at Binion's and Four Queens in downtown Las Vegas. With the new addition, the 12 casino hotels in downtown Las Vegas now have in-person sportsbooks operated by six companies across seven brands, spread across 10 properties. 

Current Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley and former Mayor Oscar Goodman were on hand for the grand opening at Four Queens on Sept. 2. After cutting the ribbon for the opening, Berkley placed the first bet: a $100 wager on the Raiders to win the Super Bowl. She placed the same bet last year when Boomer's opened its first Las Vegas location at Ellis Island.

Boomer's now operates the sportsbooks at eight casinos around the Las Vegas Valley and 17 throughout Nevada. The company also has betting kiosks inside Village Pub taverns.

"In just over a year, Boomer’s has gone from an idea to 16 sports books and a mobile app, servicing sports bettors across Nevada as the football season starts. The landscape of downtown sportsbooks continues to evolve. A decade ago, there were only a few different operators. There are five operators in downtown Las Vegas casinos since Caesars owns William Hill, and both brands offer the same odds.

While recreational sports bettors just want to place a bet and watch a game, some advanced players want as many options as possible to find the best odds.

Boomer’s Sportsbook Takes Over At Binion’s and Four Queens

Boomer's is now operating the sportsbooks at Binion's and Four Queens in downtown Las Vegas. Both casinos are owned by TLC Casino Enterprise, and the sportsbooks were previously managed by William Hill.

The physical sportsbook at Binion's remains the same. It's still located outside of Benny's Smokin' BBQ and Brews and has the same layout, with plenty of cocktail tables and chairs for guests.

Four Queens has a new, small sportsbook space located next to the old William Hill sportsbook. There are a handful of cocktail tables here as well, and large TVs for guests to watch the games. Multiple reps at the grand opening joked that they hoped it’s busy enough to expand sooner rather than later.

Both locations have a few kiosks for players who'd rather place wagers with a machine than a person.

These aren't destination sportsbooks like the one at Circa, but they fill a need for players at either casino to place an in-person wager. The larger space at Binion's will likely feel more comfortable for guests who want to hang out for a while and watch the games they've wagered on.

Boomer's, Binion's, and Four Queens teamed up for a promotion for the opening. Boomer's will match deposits from new customers up to $250. The casinos will also give those players $50 in free play.

It's great to see when casino operators support one another. Jonathan Jossel, chief executive of Plaza Hotel & Casino, and Circa CEO Derek Stevens were both on hand to take in the opening festivities.

What Is Boomer’s Sportsbook?

Boomer's Sportsbook is just over a year old, launching Aug. 1, 2025, under the leadership of former William Hill CEO Joe Asher. The company is following a similar pattern to the one William Hill used when it debuted in 2012.

The independently operated company is a mobile-first sportsbook with small retail locations in casinos throughout the state, where players can sign up for an account. This is the same model William Hill took before Caesars purchased the company in 2021.

Since launching and at yesterday's opening, Asher has said a goal of the company is to be a Nevada-only sportsbook operator. This is one way Boomer's separates itself from the competition.

Boomer's prides itself on having fair prices and unique promotions. The sportsbook is offering -105 odds on all pro football spreads this season. The typical price is -110, so Boomer's bettors will win $4.33 on a $100 wager. This may not seem like much, but the 4.33% difference adds up for high-volume bettors.

The company also offers unique betting options on local teams throughout the season. Being able to find better prices, more promotions, and different ways to bet is only beneficial to bettors.

Downtown Las Vegas Sportsbook Variety

As mobile sports betting has increased over the years, more sportsbook operators are opening shops downtown to acquire new players. There are now five operators and six brands across the 12 downtown Las Vegas casinos, with the addition of Boomer's:

• Golden Nugget
• Station Casinos: El Cortez
• William Hill: Plaza

Golden Gate and Main Street Station don't have a physical sportsbook. Caesars and William Hill have the same odds, but players with the former can earnCaesars Rewards points from wagers.
