April in Las Vegas is usually a transitional month from spring into summer. Since March saw record-high temperatures in the 90s and 100s, the upper 70s and 80s projected by AccuWeather may seem like a cooldown to some.
If the weather stays closer to normal, visitors can enjoy the early days of pool season, a round of golf, or drinking and dining on patios without worrying about heat exhaustion.
The residency calendar is light, but there is plenty of news about performers returning for another round of limited engagements in April.
Some of the biggest names, including Jerry Seinfeld, Nate Bargatze, and Chelsea Handler, are coming to town for their residency shows. Joining them are performers like Matteo Lane, Jimmy O. Yang, and Mae Martin, who are aiming for the same kind of mainstream fame.
The comedy clubs are booked with up-and-coming comedians as always, and one venue on the Strip is testing the waters with a new comedy series this month.
April delivers for all types of stand-up comedy fans. From legendary headliners to breakout stars, here’s a look at who’s performing across the Strip this month.
Many of the comedians are performing at familiar casinos and venues, but a few appear in nontraditional settings. Tracy Morgan is at the Westgate, Mae Martin performs at 24 Oxford inside Virgin Hotels instead of a theater, and Chelcie Lynn appears at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, which typically hosts musicians.
There are a few small comedy clubs inside or adjacent to Las Vegas casinos. Tickets for these shows are among the most affordable in Las Vegas entertainment.
The lowest-priced comedy show tickets can be found at a club in the center of the Strip, just outside The LINQ casino.

If successful, the series may extend further into the year. Tickets start at $59.95 for a single seat at the bar, with tables for parties of two or more offering better value.
