LAS VEGAS – Tired of scrolling through countless Reddit threads trying to track down the best happy hours in Las Vegas? If you’re looking to dine at popular Strip restaurants this February, this list has some of the top happy hours at casinos in Las Vegas so you can save your money for the casino floor.
Casinos like Fontainebleau and Wynn don’t exactly cater to budget travelers, but the places below prove you can dine well in Vegas, even while on a budget. While many happy hours run on weekdays only, a few casinos like The Venetian, Sahara, and The Cosmopolitan offer deals every day. Bookmark this for your next Vegas trip!
Every restaurant below is either inside a casino on the Strip or conveniently right off the Strip, meaning you won’t have to go far to get a solid meal at a reasonable price.
The restaurants at the Sahara are generally all well-priced, but Balla Italian Soul offers a delicious Italian happy hour on the Strip. It’s available every day from 5-6 p.m. and again from 9-10 p.m. The time windows are short, but the late-night option makes it a great stop before heading out for the evening.
Balla’s drink prices are especially reasonable for Vegas, with $10 Aperol spritzes and specialty cocktails starting at $8. Food options range from $5 to $18, with items to share or small bites to keep things light. The $15 margarita pizza and $5 focaccia with olive oil and vinegar together are surprisingly filling to share with another person.
Ocean Prime is a go-to happy hour for many Vegas locals and visitors, running Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. in the lounge. The restaurant is located in CityCenter between Aria and The Cosmopolitan, making it a convenient stop for guests staying at either resort.
The menu features half off select food items, specialty cocktails, and certain wines. People often come here for the wonderful deals on premium seafood and high-end cuts of meat. Lamb lollipops drop from $34 to $17, while truffle fries and short rib are only $8.50. Its patio offers a gorgeous view of the Strip, and the $11 martinis are tough to find elsewhere on the Strip.
STK Steakhouse proves that you can enjoy a steakhouse while still on a budget. The restaurant at The Cosmopolitan runs its “777” happy hour daily from 2:30-5:30 p.m. It’s name is because the restaurant offers seven items priced at $7 each, seven days a week, exclusively in the bar and bistro area.
It’s a smaller menu, but it’s one of the easiest ways to experience STK without committing to a full-priced dinner. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is albeit gorgeous, but it can be easy to run up a large bill for even just an appetizer and cocktail. The Lil’ BRGs sliders paired with truffle fries are a popular combination, and all of their specialty cocktails during happy hour are typically around $12.
Flight Club Darts USA offers a great happy hour Sunday through Friday from 3-6pm that combines affordable drinks with entertainment. The place is more well known for its competitive dart competition offerings, but has an underrated happy hour as well. Draft Modelo beers are priced at $6, while well drinks made with Tito’s or Bacardi are $8.
Wine and prosecco are available for $10, and the food menu features appetizers ranging from $7 to $10. Truffle parmesan fries cost $7, shrimp cocktail is just $2.90, and buffalo chicken sliders are priced at $10. With interactive darts and a more lively atmosphere than your usual bar or restaurant, this spot is a popular spot for dates, group outings, or team-building events for business travelers.
Beauty & Essex hosts its Social Hour Sunday through Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Beauty & Essex offers 10 of their signature dishes and drinks are available for $10 each in the bar and lounge area.
If you try anything there, definitely try the grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings, which are probably one of the most creative appetizers in a Vegas restaurant. You can also enjoy their deep dish focaccia bites or chile relleno empanadas for $10 each. Their two featured cocktails for $10 are the Basil Gimlet (vodka, lime, basil, agave) and the Hot Tropics (blanco tequila, pineapple, lime, jalapeno, agave).
The LINQ Promenade is home to a variety of affordable dining options, and Virgil’s Real BBQ is definitely one of them. This restaurant will give you classic American food on the Strip for a great price. Their happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 2-5 p.m. at their downstairs bar.
Drink specials include margaritas, cosmos, and other specialty cocktails priced between $7 and $9. Their spiked sweet tea is a favorite for $7. The happy hour menu focuses on classic BBQ and American comfort food, and everything stays within the single digit range.
This happy hour is located right off the Strip at The Palms. Scotch 80 offers its Social Hour Monday through Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Select menu items are 30%, providing rare savings at another high-end steakhouse.
Happy hour highlights include half a dozen oysters for $17.50, brie fondue for $11.20, and an eight-ounce filet mignon priced at $50.50. Cocktails are offered at $12.60, including seasonal selections that rotate throughout the year. While it’s not directly on the Strip, the value makes it worth the short ride.
BRERA Osteria, located in The Venetian’s shoppes, is known for its Italian food and pizza. Some diners commented that it has the best priced pizza on the Strip during Aperitivo Hour. It runs from 2-5 p.m., though this is one of the few selections that has blackout dates that apply during large conventions.
Appetizers like dry aged beef sliders and aranceli risotto are priced between $6-12, while pizzas range from $12.50-16.50. Cocktails start at $9.50 and draft beers start at $6.50. And who doesn’t love a $9 Aperol spritz?
Last and certainly not least, Jaleo by José Andrés offers one of the most frequent happy hours on the Strip, running every day from 5-7 p.m. in the bar and lounge. Known as “Sangria Hour”, one of the best specials is the sangria priced between $7 and $9.
The menu also offers tapas and appetizers ranging from $4-10, including chicken fritters and Spanish fritters topped with shrimp or lobster and aioli. For larger groups, the Bottle and Board is available for $68 and includes the chef’s curated charcuterie board of Spanish cheeses and cured Ibérico meats paired with a bottle of wine.
