Look closely past the Eataly entrance to Park MGM and you’ll see the NoMad sign, but not for long. NoMad is no more, and many visitors never realized it was a separate hotel to begin with. (Photo: courtesy of MGM Resorts)
LAS VEGAS -- The Reserve at Park MGM will replace the 293 rooms that were once NoMad Las Vegas beginning Dec. 17. In addition to rebranding the rooms on the top three floors of Park MGM, various amenities will be renamed:
The rebrand is already underway and MGM Resorts is already notifying NoMad guests about the upcoming changes. Since MGM operates the property, there should not be any disruptions for anyone staying in the premium rooms at Park MGM.
This is strictly a name change for the hotel, so there are no plans to renovate the Reserve rooms or venues at this time. The name swap is not a surprise since Hilton purchased the parent company of the NoMad brand in 2024. That does not align with MGM Resorts’ partnership with Marriott, so the transition was inevitable.
Later this month, reservations under the new name will open through MGM Rewards, with additional booking options coming next year.
In early 2026, The Reserve at Park MGM will join Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection. Like NoMad, the Reserve will be a separate hotel inside Park MGM.
It will be the MGM Resorts' 13th property in Las Vegas that is bookable through the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, joining:
Once The Reserve becomes part of Marriott Bonvoy, those members will be able to book visits at all MGM Resorts hotels in Las Vegas.
NoMad was one of several hotel-within-a-hotel concepts at MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas. These concepts give guests an alternative hotel experience while staying at a property they already enjoy. The others are W Las Vegas (formerly Delano) at Mandalay Bay and the Signature at MGM Grand.
MGM Resorts also operates Vdara, which is a separate resort connected to ARIA. Though it is its own non-smoking resort like Park MGM, it's often viewed in the same light.
The concept is not exclusive to MGM Resorts -- another example is Nobu Hotel inside Caesars Palace. Even though this tower is in the center of the massive casino, it feels exclusive, the rooms are beautiful, and the service is impeccable.
These hotel brands typically offer a more exclusive option than the main hotel and are sometimes affiliated with national hospitality companies like Marriott. They can be a full tower like MGM's Signature or a dedicated section of a larger property like the Reserve at Park MGM.
The hotels often have separate amenities like spas or pools that are accessible only to guests staying in these rooms. The rooms have elevated design and service compared with the main property. This allows the operator to offer a premium product at a higher price, and guests appreciate the exclusivity these hotels provide.
After months of delays, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy launched in March 2024. The partnership allows Bonvoy members to book rooms at The Reserve and other MGM properties by using points.
The deal also allows MGM Rewards members to link their accounts with Bonvoy. When linked, members can transfer points in either direction. This gives MGM Rewards members access to more than 10,000 Marriott hotel rooms across 30 brands.
MGM Rewards members with Pearl status or above can link their account to receive tier matching benefits when staying at Marriott properties.
Here’s how the tiers match from MGM Rewards to Bonvoy:
MGM Rewards members can find more information on linking accounts on their website.
The partnership has been popular with Bonvoy members. During MGM Resorts’ third quarter earnings call, CEO Bill Hornbuckle said 900,000 rooms have been booked through Marriott. He projected that October would be the strongest month of the partnership and expects more activity next year.
