Missouri riverboat casinos generated $167.7 million in revenue in July, an 8% year-over-year increase from the $155.1 million generated the year prior.
The latest figures published by the Missouri Gaming Commission show that Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) accounted for 94% of the state's total revenue, generating $145.9 million in July, up 9% year-on-year from $133.6 million.
Additionally, table games saw a 1% increase in revenue, from $21.5 million to $21.7 million in 2025, with Ameristar reporting the highest table games revenue this month, $4.4 million.
Of the 13 riverboat casinos in the state, only one reported a percentage loss year-on-year, and one saw a 0% change. Missouri casinos were much more fortunate last month than July 2024, when 11 reported year-on-year revenue declines.
The highest revenue was generated by Ameristar SC Casino, which saw a revenue of $25.6 million, an increase of 6% from the $24.1 million reported the year prior. Additionally, Ameristar SC’s sister casino, Ameristar KC, saw a 4% revenue increase, with earnings reported at $17.5 million in 2025, up from $16.8 million in 2024.
Century Caruthersville saw the highest year-on-year percentage increase, with revenue rising 25% from $3.9 million to $5.1 million, and IOC Boonville also saw double-digit increases of 25% from $6.7 million to $8.4 million.
As a result, authorities charged eight of the nine individuals with conspiracy to commit money laundering. All nine were charged with at least one count of wire fraud, along with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, and operating an illegal gambling business.

In contrast, Century Cape Casino saw no percentage change year-over-year, with revenue seeing a minor increase from $5.8 million to $5.9 million. Bally’s Kansas City was the only casino to see a loss in July, with revenues decreasing 6% from $11.8 million to $11.1 million.
As Missouri’s legitimate riverboat casinos report increasing revenue in July, Missouri authorities have arrested nine people in Southwest Missouri for operating an illegal gambling ring, which allegedly laundered over $9.5 million.
In addition to operating in Southwest Missouri, the operation reached other states such as Colorado, Georgia, New York, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Washington. The businesses were registered as adult arcades but ran illegal chance games and slot machines.
