LAS VEGAS -- Bingo is returning to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time in 20 years, as Circus Circus plans to open a bingo hall in February 2026. While Circus Circus has never had a permanent bingo hall, it has hosted themed events like the PRIDE Pajama Brunch Bingo in 2013.
This will be the first bingo hall on the Strip since the Riviera closed in 2005.
Circus Circus is known as a family-friendly, budget property for embracing Las Vegas gambling nostalgia. The new bingo hall follows the move of the casino's coin-operated slot machines from the casino floor to the Slots A Fun section earlier this year. Circus Circus remains the only Strip casino with coin-operated slots.
While the game will be more expensive than off-Strip casinos, it will be a relative bargain for the Strip as a whole. It will also offer a different experience for gamblers on the Strip and give visitors another reason to stop by Circus Circus.
The upcoming 225-seat bingo hall will sit off the main casino on the third-floor promenade level. This area, accessible from the parking garage, houses retail outlets and quick eats like ice cream and coffee.
Circus Circus will offer six daily bingo sessions, with each session taking about an hour to complete ten games. The casino is intentionally avoiding the modernization compared to bingo rooms in other casinos in Las Vegas.
“You get the actual old-school feel of daubing papers and physically looking for numbers popping up," said Circus Circus General Manager Shana Gerety. "Since we’re going to be the only bingo hall on the Las Vegas Strip, we want to do something that is not very common here, and bingo isn’t common, nor is paper.”
Sessions will include traditional bingo games, a coverall and a bonus game. Players will not be able to use an electronic bingo machine, preferred by younger players. They will have to use a classic dauber to mark their spots on a paper bingo card.
Like most offerings on the Strip, Circus Circus bingo will be comparatively expensive. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, one pack of 10 cards will cost $30 and additional cards will cost $10.
While an hour of gambling on the Strip for $30 is cheap for the area, it is a little pricey for bingo. Nearby Palace Station bingo starts at $5 for a basic six-card pack, while popular specials with multiple game types and bonus cards range from $15 to $40.
The price should not deter tourists. Across the street at Fontainebleau, players will be lucky to get two hands of blackjack or a few rolls of the dice at craps for $30.
The 2024 Las Vegas Visitor Profile reported 69% of visitors stayed on the Strip, but not everyone is willing to leave the area to find cheaper gambling or meals. While the prices on the Strip might be higher than at home, there are less expensive options in the area if you know where to look.
Circus Circus is one of the few properties on the Strip that hasn't priced out low rollers. As previously mentioned, $30 for an hour of bingo will be a deal for the area, even if there are cheaper options elsewhere.
The Slots A Fun area is the hub of activity for gamblers and bargain hunters. This is one of two sections in the casino with live dealer table games and cheap food and drinks. Guests can snag a beer or a hotdog for just $2 in this part of the casino.
Table games with low minimum bets, along with cheap food and drinks, can help visitors stretch their dollar. Fair-priced deals like a 25-dollar all-you-can-eat brunch are popping up all over the Strip as visitation slumps. And it's clear Circus Circus is committed to offering overall value to visitors who decide to stop by.
