Casino-goers Vote in Favor of Smoking Bans

Nearly 57% of respondents in a poll posed by Las Vegas Locally on X said they favor a total smoking ban in Las Vegas casinos and bars. While the poll may not be scientific, with 21,760 votes, it has some validity.

The poll was posted on Thursday and closed on Sunday.

These independent results come at a time when casino workers in New Jersey are suing the state, claiming a casino exemption to the state's indoor smoking ban is unconstitutional and violates their rights to work in a healthy environment. We're also hearing unverified buzz that a similar lawsuit could be coming in Pennsylvania.
