BetMGM announced Monday that it will be relaunching its Borgata Online iGaming site on Friday, offering a refresh to one of the oldest online gambling sites in New Jersey.
Borgata Online, the namesake online gambling site for the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, is available in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The Borgata was the first of the Atlantic City casinos to earn an internet gambling permit from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, receiving it on Oct. 9, 2013. The site was part of the launch of regulated online gambling in New Jersey on Nov. 26 of that same year. According to a press release from BetMGM, Borgata Online has contributed at least $250 million in taxes to the state of New Jersey throughout its lifespan.
“Borgata wrote the first chapter of legal online gambling in 2013 and now we are writing the next one,” BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said in a statement. “Borgata players are some of our most engaged and loyal customers, so we wanted to ensure their experience reflects the exceptional quality that has become synonymous with the Borgata name.”
BetMGM says the newest version of the site will include several upgrades. For one, the platform's navigation will be streamlined, with tabs at the top, a standardized navigation bar at the bottom, and more information available with a single tap.
Players will also have access to a Rewards Hub that tracks rewards across multiple programs, including Borgata Rewards Points and MGM Rewards. The site will feature over 4,000 titles, with Borgata-themed games like Borgata Gem Strike and Borgata 777 Respin Deluxe planned for release before the end of the year.
“Borgata provides a seamless connection to online and in-person experience and exemplifies what a legal, regulated online casino can achieve,” Prevost said. “This latest product investment underscores how seriously we take our responsibility to players, regulators, and all who have made Borgata Online what it is today.”
Celebrations of the launch are being tied into larger July 4 festivities at the Borgata in Atlantic City. On Friday, the resort will host a fireworks show produced by Fireworks by Grucci beginning at 9:30 p.m. Throughout the weekend, new Borgata Online players who sign up for accounts in the lobby can play a claw machine game for the chance to win a $10,000 online casino bonus or other prizes, and there will be an adult game zone with interactive entertainment on Friday.
The refresh comes at a time when Borgata Online continues to bring in significant revenue, though it is far behind the leaders in New Jersey. According to figures provided by the New Jersey Department of Gaming Enforcement, Borgata earned $22.4 million in revenue from its online operations in May 2026, ranking fourth in the state behind BetMGM ($34.6 million), DraftKings ($47.0 million), and state leader FanDuel ($64.0 million).
