LAS VEGAS -- Sammy Hagar’s “Best of All Worlds” residency has been one of the biggest to hit Las Vegas in 2025, and the "Red Rocker" himself has confirmed that the announced that the residency will carry over into 2026. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar will continue performing at the Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2026, taking the “Best of All Worlds” format into its third year for fans to see him and his entourage.
To say that Hagar was excited about the prospects of continuing the “Best of All Worlds” residency would be a significant understatement.
“I can't tell you how hard it's been not to leak this announcement,” Hagar said in announcing the new shows. “Those last nine shows (in May) were some of the best shows I've done in my life. I love this band like no other and can't wait to do it again. One listen to the live residency record coming out, and you will understand this is my idea of retirement! Beats golf any day!”
His new live album, Sammy Hagar & The Best of All Worlds Band – The Residency, will be hitting the streets on October 10. The 19-track album will feature classic Van Halen cuts, snippets from Hagar’s lengthy solo career, guitarist Joe Satriani’s virtuoso solo work, and Michael Anthony’s contributions from the pre-Hagar Van Halen. It is already available for pre-sale on all major streaming platforms and Amazon.
The dates for the resumption of the “Best of All Worlds” residency are going to give you some time to make your plans. “The Best of All Worlds” will take place at Dolby Live on the following dates in 2026:
Tickets are live for sale through Ticketmaster, which is offering several VIP experiences for the show, or by visiting Sammy Hagar’s website, RedRocker.com.
The “Best of All Worlds” concept was Hagar’s method of paying tribute to his former bandmate and guitar impresario Eddie Van Halen, who passed away from cancer in 2020.
When it became unlikely that former vocalist David Lee Roth, Eddie’s brother Alex, or Eddie’s son Wolfgang would reunite, Hagar created a show to honor the Van Halen's legacy. The “Best of All Worlds” Tour launched in 2024, featuring Satriani stepping up to take on Eddie Van Halen’s solo work and Jason Bonham, the son of the late John “Bonzo” Bonham of Led Zeppelin, taking the drum kit.
The band crisscrossed the U.S during their 2024 tour, bringing a sense of closure for many Van Halen fans who were thrilled to hear classic Van Halen cuts once again. By the end of the run, Bonham stepped away from the band to care for his mother’s illness and veteran drummer Kenny Aronoff took over. Aronoff will remain behind the drum kit for the continuation of the residency.
Thanks to the success of the tour in 2024, Hagar sought a way to continue celebrating Van Halen through a residency in Las Vegas. In November 2024, Dolby Live at Park MGM stepped forward to provide the perfect stage, and the fan reaction to seeing Hagar & Company pushed the casino to extend the residency into 2026. As Hagar approaches his 78th birthday on October 13, this could be the final opportunity to experience the entirety of the “Best of All Worlds” residency…unless the “Red Rocker” continues to defy time and takes it even further into 2027.
