Mickey Rourke’s CBB Odds, Early Exit or Rule Breaker?

Celebrity Big Brother made a chaotic return to our screens earlier this week, with Hollywood legend Mickey Rourke making headlines for his entrance.

CBB bosses ensured he was the 13th and final housemate put into the show's new abode in London to kick-start the latest star-studded ITV series.

Show co-hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best were clearly excited about the housemates being tasked to make Rourke do a conga upon entry into the abode, but he nearly didn't make it at all. During his entry chat with AJ and Will, The Wrestler actor joked to AJ, "I want to stay with you."

He then proceeded to shake hands with several fans rather than enter the house, and AJ and Will had to return to the stage to pretty much boot him into the iconic abode.

Some took to social media to label his behaviour "creepy.” But AJ wrote on Instagram after the launch: "The return of CBB with the most major lineup and interesting encounters [winking emoji with tongue sticking out]."

Early Exit For Mickey?

Rourke made it clear to the co-hosts and his new housemates that he hadn't ever watched Celebrity Big Brother before and admitted he had "no clue" what he was letting himself in for.

Prior to launch night he also said, "I don't care about winning. It doesn't mean anything to me. I want someone to win who really cares about winning and who earns it."

Rourke looked a little bit out of his depth on launch night, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he departed the ITV reality TV show early. The Angel Heart actor is just 13/8 to last less than six days in the programme.

What's more, the first eviction takes place on Friday, and before entering the show, the star admitted he could be voted out early.

He said, "I talked to a friend of mine who was on the show – Chuck Liddell – and he told me he got voted out real early. So that'll probably happen to me. I have no expectations."

However, Rourke admitted he "loves" being in England and insisted he will "enjoy" speaking to his fellow housemates.

Last year's series aired for 19 days and it's already been confirmed this year's series is on for three weeks. Another 19-day series would see the final episode air on Friday, April 25, which seems about right. Rourke is 2-1 to last between six and 12 days in the famous abode and 4-1 to spend two weeks or more there.

Hughes To Foul First?

Every year in Big Brother, or the celebrity equivalent, there is always at least one rule break – and it wouldn't be a surprise if someone is up to no good in this year's CBB.

Former Love Island star Chris Hughes is the 6/4 favourite to be the first housemate to break the rules, after the star already admitted he talks too much. What's more, Rourke isn't far behind at 7/4, and comedian and actress Donna Preston is a 2/1 chance to annoy Big Brother first.

Ahead of launch night, Donna admitted she might be "a bit grumpy" in the famous abode and confessed she could rile some of her fellow housemates by using too much hot water for her baths.

When asked why she might be nominated, she said, "Telling people to stop biting their nails. Actually, I won't tell people to stop biting their nails. I'll kindly ask. Or moaning that if someone's snoring, I'd probably be a bit grumpy.

“But then I think I snore, so I can't really say anything. It's a bit of a tricky situation. Or maybe it'll be because I've taken too much hot water, because I will be in that bath. I have a bath at home every night."

Big Brother has been known to cut housemates' hot water allocation if they fail tasks or misbehave, which could frustrate Donna.

JoJo’s No No To Rule Break

However, one housemate who insists they won't break the rules is American singer JoJo Siwa.
She is an 8/1 outsider to be the first to anger Big Brother, after saying: "You know what I'll get nominated for – being too much of a rule follower.

"Because if someone breaks the rules, I'll get annoyed, and I know people break the rules. Guaranteed I will not break one rule the whole time."

JoJo could get annoyed at Conservative Party member Michael Fabricant (5/2) or Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd (3/1) if they break the rules first. Both have hinted at a potential house rebellion.

Michael has admitted he sometimes "talks too much" and might annoy others by "singing too loudly" to himself, while Jack – who has been in Corrie for 25 years – confessed he could wind up others.

He said, "I'm always on the wind-up – maybe they'll be a bit annoyed that I'm always on the wind-up."
Drag queen Danny Beard already had some beef with Olympian Daley Thompson in Tuesday night's episode, and they are 10/3 and 7/2, respectively, to break the rules first.
