The Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race will run Nov. 19-21 and will continue through at least 2037 regardless of how anyone feels about MGM Resorts blocking the Bellagio fountain view.
This is a big deal. The race is easily the biggest event on the November Las Vegas sports calendar. As usual, there will be activations throughout the week for race fans or anyone visiting Las Vegas who wants to get into the F1 spirit.
However, a lot has changed since the current version of the race launched in 2023. Casino operators and race organizers have both streamlined Las Vegas Grand Prix race week events. During the first year, hotel room rates were sky-high all over town, and you could find some kind of F1 activation almost everywhere on the Strip.
The casino operators learned where guests visit and spend their time and money during race week. The most useful change is room rates, which are reasonable outside of the circuit area and luxury resorts catering to international high rollers.
The casinos are also taking different approaches to marketing their properties during race week. For example, MGM Resorts offers activities at only four of its Strip resorts. Meanwhile, Caesars uses the race to market its restaurants instead of offering guests fun F1-related activities.
Here’s a look at where F1 fans in town for the Las Vegas Grand Prix can find activations tied to drivers, cars, and teams.
The Mercedes Fan Hub will be held outside Bellagio during race weekend. The experience will be open from noon to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, and from 2 to 10 p.m. Nov. 19-21.
This will be the biggest free activity at a casino during race week. Guests can try race simulators or try their hand at being a pit-stop mechanic on a real F1 car. You can also take pictures with a 2026 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team show car. Giveaways will happen every day, and merch will be available for purchase.
Ferrari fans can visit a pop-up boutique at Bellagio. The shop will feature items and one-of-a-kind clothing available only during race weekend.
The popular Shoey Bar is also returning to Bellagio for race week. You can get a drink for yourself in a motorsport shoe or share The Lid, a punchbowl cocktail served in a race helmet. MGM Rewards Gold members or higher get early access at 11 a.m. daily.
Race Week at Wynn Las Vegas has plenty of F1 activations, including a lounge for F1 Academy fans.
Various cars will be on display throughout the property. In addition to F1 cars, look for the Porsche 911 collaboration cars with Disney and Pixar, inspired by “Toy Story” characters.
The Eastside Lounge in the Encore Tower is one of the best people-watching venues inside Wynn. It will transform into the McLaren Lounge, featuring golf simulators on the patio.
The Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge returns for another year. This is one of the most involved activations inside a casino during race week. Guests can race against the clock using real tools to change tires on a simulated race chassis.
The Delilah restaurant will host the F1 Academy’s FQ Lounge on Friday, Nov. 20. It will simply be a place to celebrate the women breaking barriers in motorsports. It’s also a great excuse to visit one of the toughest reservations in Las Vegas.
There will be numerous retail outlets, including Lewis Hamilton’s streetwear-inspired clothing brand, +44, as well as F1-inspired Wynn gear.
The Venetian is the official home of Alpine in Las Vegas. A replica BWT Alpine F1 car will be on display near the lobby for guests to ogle and take pictures with.
F1 Hub is mostly a retail outlet where guests can buy exclusive merch and collabs with Disney, Hello Kitty, Greg Yuna, Off Season and much more. You can find more information on the F1 Hub website.
It will also have interactive activations and photo ops. The highlight might be the radio-controlled Las Vegas Grand Prix-inspired racetrack where guests can compete against each other.
The Cosmopolitan will host a Haas display featuring an authentic race car and team memorabilia Nov. 16-22 on Level 2 of the Chelsea Tower near the valet entrance.
There will also be a meet-and-greet with the Haas F1 Team on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 10 to 11 p.m. It’s first-come, first-serve, so arrive early.
Art has been a feature of The Cosmopolitan since it opened in 2010. It makes sense that the casino would have some F1-related art for race week.
“Art in the Fast Lane” will take place in the same area as the Haas car display. Artist Armin Flossdorf will host live high-speed painting sessions and an open gallery from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18-21.
Additionally, the Digital Art Experience will take place Nov. 9-22, and Curated Art Helmets will be on display Nov. 16-22.
Fontainebleau will have a one-of-a-kind custom race car on display in the North Lobby from Nov. 12 – 21.
The Fontainebleau Race Club Shoey Bar at Solo Lounge will have a limited number of shoeys for sale. The space will also have F1 racing simulators and interactive experiences.
Heads up for shoey collectors: There’s usually a line to get these and other limited-edition shoes and cups.
The F1 Arcade at the Forum Shops inside Caesars Palace isn’t a special Las Vegas Grand Prix pop-up. It’s a permanent fixture in the casino mall.
This is the flagship location of the bar and restaurant that features numerous race simulators. While there are six other locations in the U.S., this is the biggest and best.
While the free events are fun, most race fans are in town to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Here’s a look at the race schedule:
