LAS VEGAS — The spa at Bellagio Hotel and Casino is set to officially reopen Nov. 16 after a lengthy eight-month remodel. According to multiple spa representatives who spoke with Casinos.com, the renovation will upgrade existing amenities and add new ones to the 55,000-square-foot spa, including a co-ed relaxation lounge, a Himalayan salt room, and an Iyashi Dôme sauna. The spa on the Las Vegas Strip closed in February to make way for the renovation.
MGM Resorts first announced the remodel on Feb. 5. Construction started in March, and the reopening was targeted for November. New renderings released for the company’s third-quarter earnings call on Oct. 28 revealed additional visuals of the redesigned space. The upgrade has a more contemporary look while fitting in with the casino’s interior design.
One of the biggest additions to the Bellagio Spa is an added co-ed space, which the spa calls a “Discovery” lounge, giving guests more room to relax before or after treatments. Guests can enjoy a completely redone set of amenities, including a whirlpool jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, and steam room.
The spa's menu of services has also been completely redone, featuring new offerings that incorporate wellness technology. For $150, guests can book 20-minute red light therapy or Iyashi Dome sessions to detoxify the body and improve circulation. A spa representative also confirmed that an additional VR experience is planned, with more details expected closer to the reopening.

On the men’s and women’s sides, guests can enjoy a traditional sauna and a new Himalayan salt sauna that helps detoxify the lungs. Renderings show one of the lounges with a sophisticated aesthetic, featuring TVs and fireplaces.
In the original announcement for the remodel, MGM highlighted that they would also redesign the corridors and add more food-and-beverage offerings for guests to order at the spa. However, the former couples' suite and its small private pool will not be included in this remodel.
Until Nov. 16, access to the spa’s main amenities remains unavailable. Services are currently offered only on the fourth floor of the Spa Tower and in-room treatments for Bellagio guests.
Once the spa reopens, day passes for guests who want to use the spa facilities without booking a treatment will cost $150 and will be available exclusively to Bellagio guests. The resort's 25% locals discount, offered Monday through Thursday, will also continue after the reopening.
The Bellagio salon has already undergone its own remodel by the same luxury architecture firm, Woogmaster Studio. The Bellagio salon, which underwent a separate remodel, has continued to operate normally throughout the spa’s closure.
Once the full renovation is complete, Bellagio guests will have access to the redesigned facilities and new wellness offerings for the first time since the spa closed in February.
