Caesars Brings Live Tropicana Roulette Wheel to New Jersey Online Casino

Caesars Entertainment has launched Remote Roulette™ at Tropicana Atlantic City, giving New Jersey online casino players the ability to bet on the same physical roulette table as players on the casino floor. Available on Caesars Palace Online Casino from September 21, the game is powered by Evolution's Dual Play Roulette technology and streams live from the Tropicana Atlantic City casino floor.

Unlike standard live dealer roulette — which uses a dedicated studio — Remote Roulette places the camera directly on an actual table inside Tropicana Atlantic City. Every spin is shared between online and in-person players in real time, with the same outcome for both.

Matthew Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, framed the product as a bridge between Caesars' physical resorts and digital platforms.

Marcus Huber, Chief Commercial Officer at Evolution, said the launch builds on a partnership the two companies have been developing across multiple products.

Evolution's Dual Play Roulette, the technology underpinning the product, routes bets from online players to a physical wheel alongside the bets of in-person casino guests. The format has been running in European markets for several years, where operators including Grosvenor and Hippodrome Online have used it to connect their physical venues to online platforms.

Caesars Follows Hard Rock Into New Jersey's Hybrid Roulette Race

Caesars is the second New Jersey operator to launch this format. Hard Rock Bet introduced Atlantic City Live Roulette in January 2026, using Playtech's equivalent technology to stream from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. The Hard Rock product gave online players a “same wheel, same spin” experience eight months before Caesars' launch.

The format distinguishes itself from conventional live dealer games, which rely on studio-only setups that simulate — but don't connect to — actual casino floor action. Both operators are pitching the hybrid approach as a more authentic alternative, leaning on Atlantic City's physical presence as a differentiator against states where online casinos operate without brick-and-mortar backing.

New Jersey's iGaming market has grown as Atlantic City casinos face increased competition from three newly approved New York City casinos. Remote gameplay products that leverage the physical presence of the Atlantic City properties represent one way operators are trying to make that geography an asset rather than just a cost.

Remote Roulette Extends Caesars' Growing Digital-Physical Portfolio

Remote Roulette joins Remote Reels™ — an equivalent product for slot machines, also at Tropicana Atlantic City — as the second entry in what Caesars is calling a remote gameplay portfolio. The framing suggests Caesars views the format as a repeatable product category rather than a one-off experiment.
