Spinomenal Launches Jungle-Themed Gorilla Blast, Expanding Hold & Hit 3x3 Series

Spinomenal has launched Gorilla Blast, a jungle-themed addition to the provider's Hold & Hit 3x3 slot series, on 30 March 2026. The 3x3 game features a four-tier jackpot structure, multipliers up to x5,000 the total bet, and the Bonus Blast mechanic that has become a recurring feature across the series.

The release is the latest in a steady stream of Hold & Hit 3x3 titles from Spinomenal. The series shares a common mechanical framework, with each title built around a Bonus and Bonus Collect triggering system, while varying the theme and visual presentation.

How the Bonus Game Works

The game's core mechanic centres on two special symbols. The Bonus symbol appears exclusively on reels one and three, while the Bonus Collect symbol lands only on the centre reel. When a Bonus Collect appears alongside at least one Bonus symbol, the Bonus Game triggers.

Symbols that initiated the round remain locked in place, and players receive three respins. During the feature, only Bonus and Bonus Collect symbols can land. Each spin may award multipliers of x1, x2, x5, x7, x10, or x15, along with any of the four in-game jackpots: Grand, Major, Minor, and Mini. The respin counter resets to three each time a new symbol lands. The round ends after three consecutive blank spins or when total winnings reach the x5000 cap.

Bonus Collect symbols accumulate the value of every Bonus symbol on the grid, adding it to a running total throughout the feature.

Base Game Features and Jackpots

Outside the Bonus Game, a tribal tiki mask serves as the Wild symbol, substituting for all standard symbols. A Bonus Blast Feature can trigger at random during the base game, placing additional Bonus and Bonus Collect symbols on the reels to improve the chances of entering the Bonus Game.

If a Bonus Collect symbol lands with one or more Bonus symbols but does not meet the full conditions to launch the Bonus Game, it still collects those values and adds them to the player's total win. The four jackpots, Grand, Major, Minor, and Mini, can also appear during standard play when jackpot symbols reveal themselves on the grid.
