Snow Run Goes Live: 155.io Takes CCTV Game Format to the Ski Slopes

Content studio 155.io has launched Snow Run, a winter sports prediction game that uses real ski-slope footage and automated computer vision to let players bet on skier activity at mountain resorts worldwide. The game went live on 31 March, exclusively on crypto casino Roobet for seven days before it rolls out to other operators.

The series is a CCTV game that uses live or curated real-world footage rather than RNG-generated visuals, with outcomes determined by what actually happens on camera.

For the studio, the launch represents another step in its push to build a new category of content-driven betting products, as operators actively seek alternatives to traditional slots and live casino formats.

How Snow Run Works

The game streams footage from ski resorts captured through a mix of GoPro point-of-view shots, drone coverage, slope-side cameras, and CCTV feeds. Players predict how many skiers or snowboarders will pass through a designated zone within a set window. Bet types include Under, Over, Range, and Exact, with multipliers of up to 18x.

All counting is handled by automated computer vision rather than human moderators, which 155.io says ensures consistent and transparent results.

The game runs around the clock, following the same always-on model as Rush Hour, the traffic-based title that launched the CCTV Game format in January and has since been picked up by operators including Stake, Shuffle, and Roobet.

Sam Jones, founder and CEO of 155.io, said: 'Snow Run shifts our simple, engaging mechanic to a totally new environment – real mountain slopes captured from multiple angles. The reaction on socials from streamers has been mind-blowing and shows authenticity is king.'

The early streamer response fits a pattern for 155.io. Rush Hour gained traction partly through social media and streaming communities, where the novelty of betting on real-world footage rather than animated outcomes has resonated with players already engaged in live-stream culture.

What Comes Next

Snow Run will be the fourth title in 155.io's CCTV Game collection, joining Rush Hour, Rolling Dunes, and Duck River.

Once the seven-day Roobet exclusivity window closes, Snow Run will be rolled out to operator partners globally as 155.io continues to build out its real-time, content-driven gaming portfolio.
