Odds On Who Will Guest Star In Clarkson's Farm Series 4

Amazon Prime Video megahit Clarkson's Farm will return to our screens on May 23 – and season four could be the most star-studded series in the show's history.

Jeremy Clarkson's former Top Gear co-host Richard Hammond will definitely appear in the new series after he featured in the trailer, and Jeremy even named a pig after him – Richard Ham.

As well as the goings-on at Jeremy's Diddly Squat Farm, Clarkson's Farm series four will also focus on the TV presenter's purchase of a pub, now called The Farmer's Dog.

Several stars have been spotted at the Cotswolds boozer since Jeremy forked out for the establishment – but who will feature in Clarkson's Farm series four?

Becks To Score Clarkson's Farm Cameo

David Beckham is the 8/13 favourite to appear in the new series of Clarkson's Farm, after Jeremy previously revealed the former England captain – who has a country pile in the Cotswolds – popped into the pub and had a picture taken with show regular Gerald Cooper.

Britain's Got Talent judges Simon Cowell (4/6) and Amanda Holden (2/1) could also appear in the series after they also visited the watering hole.

Jeremy told The Sun newspaper last year, "I see Amanda Holden in the pub from time to time; she lives very nearby.

"Simon Cowell, I saw at a party the other day, and Beckham came round once. I put a picture of him with Gerald on Instagram.

"I think he was just looking for a house in the area and he figured I’d lived there a long time. I think he’s lovely."

What's more, US chat show star Ellen DeGeneres is just 1/1 for a Clarkson's Farm series four appearance, after she and singers James Blunt (11/10) and Natalie Imbruglia (6/4) visited The Farmer's Dog in November to watch The Corrs (5/4) perform an acoustic set during a break between dates on their Talk on Corners tour.

Nice To See Prue

Other celebrities who look set to appear in Clarkson's Farm series include cookery and restaurateur legend Dame Prue Leith.

Jeremy recently said, "Prue Leith came round the other day on the biggest motorcycle I’ve ever seen. She lives just down the road.

"She’s doing something with [Jeremy's partner] Lisa [Hogan] at the moment."

Prue is 11/8 for an appearance, but fellow cooking stars Marco Pierre White and Tom Kerridge aren't too far behind at 3/1 and 4/1, respectively.

In October, Jeremy revealed Marco had paid a visit to The Farmer's Dog, and fellow pub owner Tom – who owns Marlow's The Hand and Flowers, the first boozer to ever receive two Michelin stars – previously warned Jeremy it is "very difficult" running a pub.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said, "It’s very, very difficult operating a pub. Even if it’s busy and packed on a Saturday night, the profit margin is very, very small, particularly when you’re a wet-led (drink-led) pub.

"It’s going to be very difficult. I’m very pleased that Jeremy’s taken that on because what he did for British farming showed actually how difficult it was and how hard it was to make it work.

"This will be another opportunity for us and the rest of the UK to see how difficult it is to run a pub, because he will come up against the issues and the problems that there are and talk about it and use his voice for good reason."

Jeremy's pub isn't the only new star in Clarkson's Farm series four.

The upcoming season will see him helped by new farmhand Harriet Cowan, after Kaleb Cooper's rise to fame left him busy with a solo tour.

In the trailer, Jeremy and Kaleb are speaking about someone, and Harriet says, "Who?"

Kaleb then says, "It's a scientist."

Harriet replies, "Actor."

It's not known who they are talking about but Succession actor Brian Cox and physicist Brian Cox share the same name – could they be heading to Diddly Squat Farm soon?

Either star is 20/1 to appear in the new series of Clarkson's Farm – but don't expect to see Jeremy's former Top Gear co-star James May (8/1) or Prime Minister Keir Starmer (100/1) in The Farmer's Dog anytime soon.

Jeremy previously admitted both are "banned" from the boozer.

While it appears to be a quip that James isn't allowed in, Jeremy said to Times Radio last year about PM Starmer: "He’s banned. He’s the first person on the board in the hall to be banned.

"He hasn’t done much to endear himself to me yet."

Clarkson's Farm Big In China

Potential celebrity appearances in Clarkson's Farm should only be a good thing for ratings, too.

But the show has been doing pretty well so far, even without a smorgasbord of huge stars.

The viewing figures for the first series of Clarkson's Farm weren't recorded by Barb Audiences – a British organisation which compiles audience measurement and TV ratings in the UK – because the company didn't start measuring figures for on-demand platforms until five months after the first episode dropped in June 2021.

But Barb was all over the figures for Clarkson's Farm series two – and the first episode of the second season was watched 4.3 million times in the first seven days.

This broke a record on Amazon Prime Video, making the program the most watched original series on the streaming giant – toppling the mighty Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

While that was mightily impressive for a show about farming, the programme showed further improvement in series three.

Following the release of the first four episodes in May 2024, episode one was streamed by 5.1 million in the opening seven days. The former Top Gear host has once again broken an Amazon record, becoming the channel's most streamed show in the UK.

Such is the popularity of the program that millions are now tuning in to Clarkson's Farm in China. After the show was launched on streaming service Bilibili, more than five million tuned into the first episode.

The hotly anticipated fourth series is expected to attract even more UK viewers once again. Series three's premiere episode had 800,000 more viewers than series two's opening ep across seven days, and it is just 10/11 for the first episode of series four to land between five and six million viewers in the first seven days.

But it wouldn't be a surprise if series four's launch episode reached even dizzier heights, and it's 11/10 for more than six million to tune in over the first week. What's more, it's 2/1 for the show to have a drop-off, with between four and 4.99 million watching the first ep.

In November, Jeremy confirmed there will be a fifth series of Clarkson's Farm – but will there be a sixth?

If the ratings continue to go up, it looks incredibly likely that Amazon will request another season, and it's just 1/3 for a sixth series to materialise.
