Magic Mike Live Refreshes London Cast as Hippodrome Run Tops 2,800 Shows

Channing Tatum’s hit stage production adds new performers to its West End residency at the Hippodrome Casino as the immersive show approaches eight years in London.

Channing Tatum’s stage production Magic Mike Live is adding new performers to its long-running London residency at the Hippodrome Casino, as the show continues its multi-year run in the West End and prepares for further international expansion.

Beginning 25 March 2026, Liam Raven, Genevieve Nicole, and Olivia Warren will join the cast at The Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. Returning performer Mark Lace will also rejoin the production’s ensemble.

The cast refresh arrives as the London show marks more than seven years in the West End. Since opening in November 2018, the production has staged over 2,800 performances and welcomed around 900,000 guests in London alone. Globally, Magic Mike Live has attracted more than two million attendees across multiple cities.

For the Hippodrome Casino, the production has become one of the venue’s most recognisable entertainment attractions, drawing audiences who might not otherwise visit a casino.

Hippodrome Casino sees New Audiences Through Theatre

Simon Thomas, executive chairman of the Hippodrome Casino, said the production has introduced the historic venue to a different type of visitor.

“We’re absolutely delighted with what Magic Mike Live has brought to the Hippodrome. The show has introduced a completely new audience to the building, many of whom will never have stepped inside a casino before and it has generated gargantuan publicity around the world shining a very different and welcome spotlight on us.”

The Hippodrome first opened in 1900 as a theatre before later evolving into one of London’s best-known casino and entertainment venues.

Thomas said the partnership with the show’s producers continues that tradition of combining gaming and performance.

“The partnership with the Channing Tatum team has been excellent from the outset and the show fits perfectly with the Hippodrome’s renowned theatrical heritage.”

He added that the venue has long been known for staging unconventional productions.

“From the moment the building opened in 1900 the Hippodrome has been famous for bringing something bold, innovative and a little unexpected to the West End, and Magic Mike Live continues that tradition brilliantly.”

An Immersive Theatre Experience Inside a Casino

Magic Mike Live is inspired by the Magic Mike film franchise starring Tatum, but the stage version expands the concept into an immersive theatre experience designed specifically for live audiences.

The show is co-directed by Tatum and choreographer Alison Faulk. The production converts the Hippodrome theatre into a nightclub-style environment with seating surrounding the stage, creating a 360-degree performance space.

Performers move across the stage, through the audience, and above the theatre during aerial routines and acrobatic sequences. The format is intended to create a more intimate experience than a traditional theatre production.

Since launching in London in 2018, the show has become one of the West End’s longest-running immersive productions.

Expanding into a Broader Nightlife Destination

The success of the production has helped transform parts of the Hippodrome complex into a broader nightlife destination connected to the show.

Two venues inside the casino building extend the Magic Mike Live experience beyond the theatre itself.

Permission operates as an intimate lounge offering live music, cocktails, and dining. The venue was recently named among OpenTable’s Top 10 Restaurants in London.

Elsewhere in the building, Archive & Myth runs as a password-protected cocktail bar beneath the casino floor. The bar has appeared on the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars list for two consecutive years.

Guests attending the show can also purchase a VIP Luxe Seats package, which includes premium seating, concierge service, and a post-show meet-and-greet with cast members.

Franchise Continues International Expansion

London remains the flagship European production for the Magic Mike Live franchise, which has expanded globally since debuting in Las Vegas in 2017.

Additional productions have opened in cities including Berlin and several Australian locations.

Producers are also preparing to launch a new flagship residency in New York City scheduled for October 2026.

The continued expansion reflects growing demand for immersive entertainment experiences tied to well-known film properties. For the Hippodrome Casino, the production has become a key attraction that blends live performance with the venue’s gaming and nightlife offerings.
