Just Slots Unleashes Book of Abyss: A 150,000× Demon-Queen Slot

Malta-based iGaming developer Just Slots has launched its latest title, Book of Abyss. The game invites players to explore the realm of the fallen queen demoness Abyss, bound to a cursed diary, in what the company describes as a “ritualistic journey through the soul of a demoness”.

Built on the familiar “Book” slot mechanics, the 5 × 3 reel game supports 10 fixed paylines and introduces features such as expanding symbols, multipliers, free spins, a Bonus Buy option and a HotSpin feature. According to Just Slots, the maximum win potential is a staggering 150,000 × the bet.

Gameplay and Features

In the base slots game, players trigger bonus free spins by landing at least three Book symbols (which serve as both Wild and Scatter) anywhere on the reels. Before free spins begin, an expanding symbol and a random multiplier (up to 100×) are selected. During free spins, the chosen symbol can expand to cover its reel and pays on all paylines even if not adjacent. 

The game also supports a Bonus Buy feature with three levels: entry for 100×, 300× or 1,250× the base bet depending on how many Book symbols are guaranteed.  A HotSpin/Ante–Bet option increases the potential of entering bonus modes by adding more Book Scatter symbols in exchange for an increased stake. 

The standard version lists an RTP of 98.03 % with several alternative RTP versions available at 96.36 %, 94.33 % and 92.42 %.  The hit frequency is estimated at 26 %. Min bet is quoted at 0.10 whereas max bet is shown at 5 in several reviews.
