Drumchapel Amateur Panto Club is calling on witches, wizards, and bingo lovers of all ages to join their frightfully fun Halloween fundraiser this month.
Ghouls, giggles, and games are on the cards as Halloween fun takes centre stage and all for a good cause. Oh yes it is!
The spook-tacular family bingo night kicks off on Friday, 17 October, with doors opening at 6 p.m. sharp. Bingo balls will start flying at 6:30 p.m., and it’s all going down at the Goodyear Social Club on Duntreath Avenue.
Entry won’t cost an arm and a leg, just £2.50 per bingo book. That’s cheaper than a pumpkin spice latte and potentially way more rewarding.
There isn’t one. Funds raised will help keep the local panto magic alive on stage this year. So whether you’re a dab-hand with a bingo marker or just there for the spooky vibes, every ticket supports community theatre, and possibly wins you a prize or two.
Fancy dress is encouraged (but not required), so whether you’re channelling Dracula, Dorothy, or just yourself with a novelty hat, there’s a seat waiting for you.

Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
