Imagine celebrating your 50^th wedding anniversary with a night out at a casino destination and then coming away with £25,000. 

That’s precisely what happened to a 74-year-old man from Reading who won a £25,000 jackpot while visiting the Grosvenor Casino.  

The man who did not wish to be identified was playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and he managed to turn a £1 side bet into the significant win. 

Over the Moon with Huge Win 

The anonymous player expressed his delight, saying the win made the anniversary celebration unforgettable.  

He said, “I’m absolutely over the moon to have won the jackpot. 

“I’ve visited the casino for a long time, but I’ve never won anything quite this big before, and what a special occasion to do so. This has made my 50th anniversary celebrations unforgettable, and it will take a while to sink in.”
