From viral takeaways to centre stage, John “Big John” Fisher is trading his Chinese feast videos for bingo balls, and his next stop is Manchester.

The larger-than-life food personality, who rose to online fame for his gargantuan takeaway orders and the booming catchphrase “BOSH,” is launching a 12-city UK tour in 2026. Dubbed “BOSH Bingo,” the show is set to debut at The Grosvenor on Oxford Road on 21 February, promising a mashup of rave energy, food-themed chaos, and yes, actual bingo.

According to the 51-year-old Londoner, fans can expect “rave intervals, on-stage competitions, ‘BOSH’ prizes and, of course, a sprinkle of chicken balls for good measure.”

John has recently been at the ski resort in Tignes where he met and posed for fans young and old. He is clearly a legend on the piste. He tweeted about the tour from the resort where he said he would not be skiing but watching. While he was there he enjoyed a lot of the culinary delights on offer, BOSH!

A Social Media Sensation Goes Live

Fisher became a household name, and internet meme, through videos that blend unfiltered British charm, family-friendly humour, and mouthwatering food. With nearly 500,000 TikTok followers and counting, his signature delivery of the word “BOSH” has earned him cult status in UK meme culture.

The tour comes on the heels of continued popularity, not just for Fisher, but also his son, heavyweight boxer and fellow influencer Johnny Fisher Jr., who has carved out a fanbase of his own. The elder Fisher has appeared on platforms like Newsnight, discussing British identity and multiculturalism, lending surprising depth to his public persona.

But it’s the comedy-meets-karaoke-meets-curry-night energy that’s driving ticket sales for the new show.

“This is not your average bingo night,” Fisher said in the launch video. “It’s BOSH BINGO!”

What to Expect at BOSH Bingo

The event format follows the viral bingo-meets-rave formula pioneered by shows like Bongo’s Bingo, a popular UK party brand. However, Fisher’s spin includes themed games, DJ sets, nostalgic British takeaway references, and what organisers call “unexpected silliness.”

“Expect absolute chaos, and a lot of laughs,” said a tour spokesperson. “The BOSH is strong with this one.”

Beyond Manchester, the tour will hit cities including Leeds, Liverpool and Sheffield throughout the year. While the full lineup of dates is available via the official BOSH Bingo ticket site , the tone remains clear: loud, silly, and deeply British.

Fans are advised to book early, if Fisher’s online numbers are anything to go by, these tickets may vanish quicker than a portion of salt and pepper chips.

I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
