PG Soft, the mobile-focused slot developer known for games like Mahjong Ways and Wild Bandito, has rolled out its latest fantasy-themed slot, Dragon’s Treasure Quest. The game, launched Tuesday, 15 July 2025, invites players to chase treasure through a fiery world of cascading reels, mythical multipliers and expanding reel windows.

The 5-reel, 3-row video slot is supercharged with evolving reel frames, multiplying wins and free spins. Designed for mobile-first play, it aims to appeal to casual spinners and experienced players alike.

How Dragon’s Treasure Quest Works

The base game starts with five reels and three large windows per reel. But that layout doesn’t stay static. Any time a symbol is part of a winning combination, its window splits into two, increasing the number of ways to win. This Expanding Reel Window feature resets with each spin.

Wilds, represented by a dragon's eye, appear only on reels two through five and substitute for all symbols except the Scatter. The Scatter—a glowing treasure chest—triggers the Free Spins Feature when four or more land anywhere on the reels. Players start with 15 free spins for four Scatters, with two extra spins awarded for each additional Scatter.

Free Spins is where the game gets truly volatile. Each winning free spin is multiplied by the value shown below the reels plus any Multiplier symbols that appear. These range from 2x to 100x and accumulate through the bonus round. Once collected, they persist until the end of the Free Spins Feature, setting the stage for potentially massive wins.

Another perk? The game includes a random Scatter boost. When one to three Scatters appear, the Treasure Chest may add extras to nudge players closer to triggering the bonus.

Developer: Action-Packed, Player-First Design

PG Soft says Dragon’s Treasure Quest is more than just eye candy.

"Dragon’s Treasure Quest delivers an action-packed reels adventure packed with exciting moments as players spin through a magical realm," a PG Soft spokesperson said. s"Dragon’s Treasure Quest captures the spirit of heroic quests and the fiery power of dragons, keeping the adrenaline red hot with every spin."

The game joins a growing portfolio of high-fantasy, visually rich mobile titles by PG Soft, and aligns with their ongoing strategy to enhance gameplay depth while staying accessible.

Fantasy Themed Slots are on trend

PG Soft has carved out a niche in mobile slot development, with a player base increasingly drawn to games that mix sharp visuals with engaging mechanics. Dragon’s Treasure Quest fits that brief and adds new dimensions through its expanding win system and layered multipliers.

It’s also part of a wider trend: fantasy-themed slots continue to dominate the charts in Asian and Western markets, with players gravitating toward mythical narratives and strong visual identities. For operators, it’s another high-energy option to slot into mobile-first portfolios.

In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
