GAMOMAT, the Berlin-based slot developer known for titles like Crystal Ball and Ramses Book, has released Roman Legion Flaming Link, a reimagining of one of its most iconic games. Launched Tuesday, 15 July 2025, the 5x3 slot is the latest instalment in the studio's Flaming Link series, following the well-received Ramses Book Flaming Link.
Players are transported to the battle-hardened heart of the Roman Empire, where a legion of bonus mechanics awaits, including Sticky Wilds, Multiplier Zones and a max win potential of 12,100x.
The core mechanic is Flaming Link Hold & Respin, a familiar bonus with a high-variance twist. Each round of the feature designates four random Multiplier Zones. When five or more Fire Orbs appear, the Flaming Link bonus is triggered, granting players a series of respins.
Any Fire Orbs that land within a Multiplier Zone are upgraded at the end of the feature. The total win is calculated based on all visible Orbs, multiplied by their zone values. This feature is always active and requires no extra stake.
The base game also offers a cinematic layer. A Roman military soundtrack and stirring visuals evoke epic campaigns, while three mounted legionnaires unlock 10 free spins. During the bonus, any Sticky Wild Legionnaire symbols remain fixed on the reels, enhancing the chance of multiple wins.
Roman Legion Flaming Link is delivered via GAMOMAT’s Remote Gaming Server (G-RGS) and Bragg HUB distribution channels, expanding the reach of one of its most celebrated IPs.
"Roman Legion Flaming Link takes one of our most loved games and marches it even further up the ranks! It’s a superb addition to our Flaming Link series," said Robert Kocher, Managing Director at GAMOMAT Distribution GmbH.
The game joins a rising trend of feature-packed, visually rich slots that balance risk with big reward potential, targeting both legacy fans and new players drawn to innovative mechanics.
"The Multiplier Zones add an extra layer of excitement that players will love, and we’re sure this release will be a powerful new force in our expanding portfolio. Salve Roman Legion, Furtuna tecum sit!"

Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
