Besides the obligatory Mecca Games welcome bonus, this operator has plenty to offer when it comes to bonuses and promotions. And it seemed clear to me that the promos page gets updated on a regular basis.

If you plan on making the most of these, pay a visit to the promotions page every time you log in. Sometimes the site will alert you to new bonuses and giveaways – but not always. 

That said, at the time of writing, the only offer available to me is the welcome bonus. And it doesn’t come without a catch either, there are 30x wagering requirements. To be fair, that’s lower than what you’ll find at most other casinos. Some operators (MrQ springs to mind) even skip playthrough requirements entirely. But a 30x requirement is very reasonable in the grand scheme of things. 

Welcome Bonus

Ok, so about the welcome offer here. I got myself a £40 casino bonus that comes alongside 50 free spins that can be used on the much beloved Big Bass Bonanza slot from Pragmatic Play. To unlock this offer, I just had to make an opening deposit of at least £10.

The £40 bonus could be used on any Premier Collection game and comes with a 30x wagering requirement. The same can be said for the free spins, which have to be wagered a mere 10x over. The Premier Collection consisted of five of the most popular games. Though it seems subject to change (and often so), so you won't get the same options I did.

The welcome offer bonus and free spins had to be used within seven days after credit or they were forfeited. This includes any bonus that has not been used up completely. Also, I couldn’t make the qualifying deposit using PayPal or Paysafecard, as these two payment methods were not eligible for this promotion.

Daily Wheel

I’m a sucker for daily prize giveaways. It gives me a surefire reason to come back to a casino regularly. 

Every day that I wagered £30 at Mecca Games, I got a message to my account inbox telling me to claim my prize wheel spin. On the wheel are giveaways ranging from £1 all the way up to £100, though there’s also the chance of coming away empty handed. I got a couple of wins on the wheel during my time here, and that put a smile on my face for sure.

VIP and Loyalty

I found nothing in the way of loyalty perks at Mecca Games. Perhaps they do have a VIP scheme if you stick around, but if there is one, they’re keeping quiet about it. I suppose the Daily Wheel is a loyalty reward in its own way. But it’d be nice to see something more solid here. 

Bonus Withdrawal Difficulty

Given there wasn’t another promo to test out, it’s hard to get a full picture about bonus withdrawal difficulty. So, for arguments sake, we’ll say the welcome package and Daily Wheel are reflective of how Mecca do things. 

Bonus funds came with a 30x wagering requirement, while for spins it was 10x. These are actually on the low side compared to other casinos, especially where the spins are concerned. So I’m chalking that one up as a win for Mecca Games. 

Less cute is the cap on winnings, at 5x the bonus amount. That still leaves plenty of scope for a decent take-home, but hopes of coming away with an epic amount are dead and buried. 

All in all, things seem pretty fair at Mecca Games. 

As I said, Mecca Games Casino is the slots specialist arm of the Mecca empire. This isn’t Mecca Bingo, where you will find a much wider game selection. Nor is it one of their land-based bingo halls dotted up and down the country. But I’m stating the obvious there.

The site makes clear they can be contacted by phone call and some socials, but I can't vouch for these as I didn't test them. Live chat suits me just fine. 

There's also an FAQ section accessed through the Support tab. In fact, this support centre is pretty good. It's stacked full of mini articles that cover specific queries. 

Mecca Games Review in Summary

Mecca Games Casino is a fun site - but only if you're into slots. There's no table game selection or live casino, so if you’re looking to play poker, roulette, blackjack, or baccarat, you’re going to be disappointed. If that sounds like you, think think twice before signing up.

On the other hand, if you love slot games, there’s plenty to enjoy here. The site is fully dedicated to slots and clearly focused on delivering a fun, lighthearted experience. That said, the Mecca Games Casino welcome bonus is distinctly average compared to what you’ll find elsewhere.

It’s tempting enough to attract new folks I'm sure, but the wagering requirements are a bit of a buzzkill. Then again, I’ve come across promos that were more generous and some that were far more demanding. So, take that how you will. Bottom line: only sign up to Mecca Games Casino if you’re here for the slots. If that’s the case, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

What Surprised Me

I was surprised by the lack of promotions around when I played here. For a site that focuses itself on fun and having a good time, to only have a welcome bonus and a daily prize wheel felt underwhelming. That’s not to say I am disappointed in Mecca Games, far from it, I just expected a little more.
