Hard Rock Digital announced the launch of its Hard Rock Bet iGaming platform in Ontario on Wednesday, marking the company’s first expansion outside of the United States.
In a press release, Hard Rock said that it was launching both its mobile sportsbook and online casino products in the province.
According to the company, Hard Rock Bet will feature more than 3,000 games in its Ontario online casino, including both traditional and live dealer content. Both the sportsbook and the casino will be available on iOS, Android, and desktop.
“Expanding into Ontario with Hard Rock Bet marks the first time we’ve brought our platform to an audience outside the US,” Hard Rock Digital CEO and Executive Managing Director Marlon Goldstein said in a statement. “We’re excited to introduce Ontario players to a premium entertainment experience that reflects the energy and service synonymous with the Hard Rock brand.”
The Ontario iGaming launch features connections with the local music scene in Toronto. That will include a collaboration with Choclair, a Canadian artist who is remastering the 20-year-old track “Let’s Ride” to celebrate the opening of Hard Rock Bet.
In addition, players in Ontario will be able to participate in the online Unity Points reward system and will have access to exclusive reward drops at the platform’s launch.
“By investing in local talent, local partnerships, and localized customer support, we’re creating an experience designed specifically for Ontario players,” Goldstein said.
Hard Rock already has a presence in Ontario thanks to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, which celebrated its grand opening in July 2025.
“Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa has the reputation of bringing people together for amplified entertainment experiences, and we’re excited to see that spirit extend into the digital space,” Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa President Christine Crump said in a statement. “The launch of Hard Rock Bet is a natural next step for the Hard Rock brand in Ontario, and we look forward to building on that connection with guests and players over time.”
Ontario has offered regulated commercial iGaming since April 2022. The program has, by most metrics, been an unqualified success, with the market generating C$413.1 million in gross gaming revenue in May 2026.
Those numbers have led to similar expectations for Alberta online casinos, as that province launched its own regulated iGaming market earlier this month. The province’s market opened with 22 operators on launch day, and dozens more registering to potentially jump into the action into the future. For now, however, Hard Rock has not announced any plans to seek a license in Alberta.
