Online poker site WPT Global has gone “freeroll crazy” in its latest promotion which will see a massive $2 million won by players by the time it concludes on November 2nd.
The Crazy Freeroll Series is open to both new and existing users of WPT Global and will have $10k up for grabs every night, Monday to Saturday, with a guaranteed prize of $2k for each winner.
On Sundays, there’s a staggering $100K prize pool with $20k reserved for first place.
The $10K Daily Crazy Freeroll is a ticket-only event, however there are numerous ways for players to enter.
All new and existing WPT Global users will receive four free tickets every week automatically, while there are also 24 free-to-play satellites every day, each with 20 extra $10k Daily tickets guaranteed as prizes.
Furthermore, any player that wagers $10+ in a week on WPT Global across casino, sports, Global Spins or multi-table tournaments (MTTs) will receive five tickets to enter the $10k Daily the following week.
A refer-a-friend promotion, called ‘Exclusive Friends Groups’, will also hand out another free ticket to the $10k Daily to players who successfully get a friend to sign-up.
Should a referred friend win a prize, then the player who helped them sign-up will receive a 100% bonus equivalent to the winning amount.
To play for the bigger prize in the $100K Super Crazy Freeroll, players need to qualify by finishing in the top 20 of any $10k Daily or finish in the top 500 of the Friends Group Leaderboard — which ranks all players by how many friends they have referred, among other factors.
Alternatively, players who wager between $1,500–$4,999 on casino, sports, Global Spins and MTTs will receive one free ticket, while those who wager between $5,000–$9,999 will receive two.
Players who bet $10k and up across eligible verticals will receive three tickets.

WPT Global initially launched the freeroll promotion back in mid-August, but such was the overwhelming player demand for free poker with guaranteed cash prizes, its server overloaded and the series was temporarily paused.
Between then and October 1st, when the series re-started, the poker platform’s tech teams completed an infrastructure upgrade and play has been interruption-free since.
Claiming to boast the world’s largest recreational pool of cash game players, WPT Global offers real money poker games to Canadian players, provided they’re located outside of Ontario.
An international poker site, Canadian players who are allowed access to WPT Global compete against a player pool that is open to more than 100 countries.
A social site alternative to WPT Global, called ClubWPT, is also available across Canada and offers real money prizes to players who bet with a play money currency.
Its player pool includes 47 US states, Australia, France and the United Kingdom.
Offering free-to-play ring games, tournaments, and social casino, players can also purchase monthly subscriptions to ClubWPT, which gives them access to exclusive tournaments with the largest prize pools onsite, the entire back catalogue of the WPT television show, and invites to official WPT live events.
A newer offering called ClubWPT Gold, which is billed as “poker training and legal online poker” is also currently live in 44 US states but is expected to launch in Ontario imminently.
ClubWPT Gold ambassador and poker pro Doug Polk took to Reddit yesterday (October 21st) and referenced an Ontario launch when he confirmed that players from the province will be included in the same player pool that hosts current users from the 44 US states.
Currently, several real money poker sites are licensed to operate in Ontario, but those platforms cannot pool players with users in other jurisdictions.
It's anticipated that ClubWPT Gold will also be available to players across all other provinces and territories in Canada, with the exception of Québec.
Back in August, prior to the site’s US launch, Polk referenced entry into the Canadian market in a promotional video stating: “We’ll have Canada, hopefully, at some point within a little bit here.”
WPT first announced plans for ClubWPT Gold back in September 2024, before going live in the US in early 2025. Though it did also allow Canadian residents (minus those in Québec) to pre-register.
Originally allowing players to buy and obtain Gold Coins/Sweeps Coins like a regular sweepstakes site, ClubWPT Gold has since changed its in-game currency system and replaced the virtual coins with hand analysis credits and chips.
Users instead can now pay for a poker training tool to analyse hands they have played on the site.
For every dollar spent on hand analysis, players earn a dollar in chips that can be used in ring games and poker tournaments, where real cash prizes are available.
The pivot in business model came after ClubWPT Gold acquired Upswing Poker, a poker training site that was owned by Polk.
