When Will Kardashians S7 Drop and Who’s Leaving?

The Kardashians changed the reality TV game forever when their show Keeping Up With the Kardashians landed on our screens in 2007.

Fast forward 18 years, and sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian; their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner; and their momager, Kris Jenner, are all global stars.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians ran for 20 seasons on E!, but it came to an end in 2021. Not ones to be out of the limelight for long, the Kardashians and Jenners were soon back in front of the cameras on The Kardashians, which has aired six seasons on Hulu and there is at least one more to come.

One of the Kardashians or Jenners makes headlines on a daily basis, with Kim boasting a mammoth 356 million Instagram followers, but the youngest sister, Kylie, has the most Insta followers with a whopping 393 million.

One of America's most famous families is still hugely popular and is gearing up for a seventh season of The Kardashians, but will the main players all feature on the call sheet? Kardashians to Lose Clout?

As well as being a reality TV star, Kim has her fingers in plenty of other pies. She continues to be a big player in the fashion game thanks to her shapewear brand SKIMS, and the company reached even dizzier heights in February when Kim announced she and Nike had joined forces for a SKIMS collaboration.

Kim has also turned her hand to acting of late. Recently, it was reported she is being lined up for a role in a live-action movie about the Bratz doll line Sources told Deadline that Kim is being eyed for a villain part in the project, which she is also said to be on board to produce.

But that won't be her first foray into acting. 

Kim is to produce and star in the Netflix comedy movie The Fifth Wheel, in which she will be directed by her pal Eva Longoria, and she also has a new Hulu legal drama.

All's Fair sees her appear opposite Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson, and acting icon Close recently backed the Kardashians star to be a top actor.

Glenn told DailyMail.com, "I was curious. I couldn't wait to meet her. I had never done a Ryan Murphy show before, which is a whole other universe, and I think she would be surprised at how I was. I had to find my feet.

"I would not presume to give Kim Kardashian advice. I think she's a very, very brilliant woman. I think she could choose to do anything she wants."

"Frankly, if she wants to be an actress, that's one road. But she could be. She's a great executive. She's a great businesswoman. She's a very, very involved mother. She's getting her law degree. So, I think she has huge potential and that she's fulfilled already as a woman. And frankly, I will be fascinated to see what she chooses to do."

Kim portrays no-nonsense character Allura Grant in the legal drama series, and in real life she recently graduated from law school.

The star had been working on the four-year Law Office Study Program since 2019, which took her six years due to her work and the coronavirus pandemic, and she completed her studies in May.

It's fair to say Kim keeps herself busy when she's not shooting The Kardashians, but is she too busy to return for season seven?

It's certainly a possibility, but it was recently claimed her mom is keen for her to remain on the show.

According to In Touch Weekly magazine, a source told the publication in April that Kris is "desperate" to stop Kim from departing the series.

The source added, "It’s been explained to them all by their business advisors that they need the show and the attention it brings to prop up all their other brands.

"If they are no longer on TV, the big fear is that they’d lose their clout and with it a ton of followers and ultimately their earning power."

The show could be an easy way for Kim to promote her acting work, and it would be a shock if she announced a surprise exit ahead of season seven.

She is 1/2 to return for the upcoming series, but one day a Kardashian or Jenner could quit the show for good.

Kourtney Favourite for First Exit

It will be a sad day for fans of The Kardashians when one of the sisters, or Kris, departs the series.

Mother-of-four Kourtney is the 6/4 favourite to be the first main star to leave the Hulu programme, after she previously nearly quit the show.

Shortly after the season six premiere, Khloe revealed her sister had come close to departing The Kardashians but Kim saved the day.

Khloe told E! News, "I was terrified for Kim to even have that conversation with her.

"It was not my doing and I think I was a little baby, and I wasn't involved in that because somehow I'm always in the middle of them. I'm like, 'I don't have a dog in this fight; I'm good. I think it was all Kim, I don't think I had anything to do with it. I think I was a baby and hid."

It wasn't the first time Kourtney had reservations about being filmed for the show.

In 2019, she announced a step back from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, saying to Kim in the season 17 finale, "I have three kids that are my priority more than the show.

"Why do I have to say it 25 times? I’m not going to change my mind. What I’m saying is I’m getting to the point where I’m not happy. Everyone has their breaking point.

"Life is short. It’s not all about filming this show." She later said to the camera, "It’s not OK that I feel like I’m at my breaking point. I need a break and I don’t want to film anymore."

However, in February 2020, Kris said her daughter was "filming again," and Kourtney returned for series 18. If Kourtney isn't the first main star of the series to leave, then it could be model Kendall.

When asked by British Vogue magazine in June 2024 how long she'll submit to the reality TV show cameras, she said, "It’s not my biggest cup of tea. And to be honest, I’ve never been very comfortable filming. I just feel I’m not good at it."

Kendall is 2/1 to jump ship first, but Khloe and her mother look most likely to be there until the bitter end. Khloe is propping up the market at 6/1 to be the first to go, and Kris is 5/1.

The siblings have had their fair share of beef, as all families do, throughout Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Kardashians, and Khloe previously admitted they call each other "sweepers" because they sweep issues under the carpet rather than resolve them.

But for some viewers, the family fallings-out are all part of the excitement on The Kardashians. Die-hard Kardashian and Jenner fans are eagerly awaiting a seventh season, but, at the time of writing, a release date is yet to be revealed.

There has been speculation about season seven potentially documenting the Kardashians' lives from early 2025, after the show was renewed for a seventh series in July 2024.

Kim teased a potential series seven storyline in the April finale of season six. When quizzed on her dating life, she said, "You'll have to tune into next season. I think I've said a few times, like, I manifest like a motherf*****."

And Kris has confirmed she will be back for the next series, saying, "You better f****** believe it." But when will that be? Season six was filmed around spring 2024, and episode one was released nearly a year later in February 2025.

If Hulu bosses did shoot some content earlier this year, then it would make sense for the seventh season to drop between January and June next year.

It's 10/11 favourite for that to be the case and 11/10 for The Kardashians season seven to be released between July and December 2026. Time is running out for a 2025 release date.

It's 2/1 for The Kardashians series seven to air before the year is up and a massive 5/1 that the reality TV queens leave fans waiting until 2027.
