GAMOMAT has been granted a business-to-business licence by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the German online casino games developer confirmed in a statement published on 1 September 2026.

The german casino game developer GAMOMAT stated on the 1st of September 2026 that they were granted a licence by MGA (Malta Gaming Authority), who license online casinos across Europe.

The Type 1 Critical Gaming Supply Licence, numbered MGA/B2B/1066/2024, took effect on 3 August 2026. It lets GAMOMAT distribute its slot portfolio to operators licensed under Malta's regulatory framework. The MGA's public licensee register lists the holder as GAMOMAT RGS Limited, a company registered in Malta under number C105554 with a registered address at Navi Buildings, Pantar Road, Lija, and shows the licence status as 'Licensed'.

Licence Opens Door to a Wider Operator Network

In the statement, Joss Webster, head of commercial at GAMOMAT, said: 'The MGA B2B licence is a big moment for the business as we push on with our expansion throughout Europe's regulated markets. It allows us to bring the GAMOMAT titles that partners trust and players love to a wider network of operators, while doubling down on our commitment to quality, performance and compliance.'

Malta's regulated iGaming sector has grown steadily since the MGA became one of the first European regulators to license online gambling operators, and the country now hosts hundreds of licensed gaming businesses. A Type 1 licence covers games of chance where the outcome is determined by a random number generator, the category that covers GAMOMAT's slot catalogue.

'The MGA is renowned as one of the most respected regulatory bodies in the global iGaming industry. With the new licence, we can showcase our games catalogue to a larger operator base, as we maintain our promise of quality and compliance,' said Sebastian Reddig, chief strategy officer at GAMOMAT.

A Step in GAMOMAT's Regulated-Market Push

GAMOMAT's Remote Gaming Server, the technical backbone behind its games, is designed to plug into partner platforms without lengthy integration work, according to the company's statement. The MGA licence adds to the compliance credentials GAMOMAT can point to when pitching its titles to operators that only carry games from suppliers holding recognised regulatory approvals.

The MGA has also used recent public statements on its own priorities to stress sustainable growth and compliance standards for the licensees it authorises, a framework GAMOMAT's release leans on directly.

GAMOMAT did not disclose which operators it plans to supply first under the new licence. The company's existing portfolio includes slot titles such as Burn the Sevens and Hexwood, distributed to partners across several other regulated European markets.

Berlin Studio Building on Recent Industry Recognition

GAMOMAT describes its games as 'made in Germany', with all software developed in Berlin by GAMOMAT Development GmbH, according to the company's own site. The studio was named Games Studio of the Year at the International Gaming Awards in both 2025 and 2026, part of a run of industry honours the company has collected alongside its push into new licensed markets.

The MGA licence adds Malta to the list of jurisdictions where GAMOMAT can supply operators directly rather than through a third-party aggregator, a route more suppliers have taken as European markets tighten requirements on who games providers can work with.
