WPT’s First-Ever Asia Series Lands with a $15M Prize Pool

A lot of players have been jumping onto WPT Global recently – and if you’ve seen what’s running this month, you’ll understand why.

They’ve launched the first-ever WPT Asia Series, a four-week online festival featuring ¥100M (approx $15M) in prize pools.

The Asia Series runs from February 15 to March 15 and includes more than 100 tournaments designed to suit a range of bankrolls.

How To Enter The WPT Asia Series

Getting involved is straightforward.

Register with WPT Global and head to the tournament lobby, where you’ll find the full Asia Series schedule.

When you create an account, you’ll be eligible for a new-player bonus, giving you added value from the start. You'll also get access to large-scale series hosted by one of the best poker sites in the market.

The series begins with Million Boost Week (Feb 13–17), featuring:

• 7 daily tournaments
• Buy-ins ranging from ¥33–¥99 (~$5–$15)
• A combined ¥10M (~$1.5M) in prize pools

From there, the full four-week schedule runs through to March 15, with daily phases leading to Sunday Main Event finals.

There’s no limit to how many tournaments you can enter, so you can play selectively or grind consistently across the month.

Inside WPT’s First-Ever Asia Series

Across the full schedule, there is ¥100M ($15M) in prize pools.

At the centre of the series are 9 Official WPT Ring events, giving players the chance to capture recognised WPT hardware online.

Sunday Ring events build throughout the month:

• Feb 15 – ¥1M (~$143K)
• Feb 22 – ¥1M (~$143K)
• Mar 1 – ¥2M (~$300K)
• Mar 8 – ¥2M (~$300K)
• Mar 15 – ¥3M (~$430K)

There are also Weekly Mystery Bounty Main Events, starting from ¥88 (~$13), with prize pools up to ¥3M (~$430K)

In addition, the schedule includes:

• Daily phases leading to big-money Sunday Main Event finals
• At least ¥1M (~$143K) in prize pools available every single day
• 100+ tournaments across four weeks

Player of the Series Leaderboard

Beyond the individual tournaments, there is a ¥3,000,000 (~$430K) Player of the Series Leaderboard running alongside the festival.

Key details include:

• ¥1M (~$143K) for the winner
• 2,500 places paid
• Early Bird bonus points available
• Points awarded for finishing positions
• Only your top 10 scoring days (UTC +0) count

The leaderboard is structured to reward both performance and consistency across the four-week stretch.

With nine Rings, daily prize pools, Sunday finals and a ¥3M (~$430K) leaderboard on top, the WPT Asia Series delivers sustained tournament action from mid-February through mid-March.

Open to eligible players aged 18+. The series runs February 15–March 15, 2026, and unused tickets will expire at the end of the promotion.
